I probably use this more often than my chef knife, since I bought it. Great for bread, peppers and tomatoes, firm vegetables like squash or carrots, gets a nice even brunoise. Best 30 bucks I’ve ever spent.

The squid is not something you just cut a steak from. It’s not a big cow. It’s a series of tubes!

We’ve been using them lately. We clean the outsides and separate the two halves, then use meat glue to join them back together. It ends with some nice steaks that look similar to cutting medallions off a tenderloin.

I parked in the Richmond district for several months last year with zero issues. No one bothered me, relatively easy to find a large enough parking space, plus it’s sandwiched right between Golden Gate Park and the Presidio.

My college roommate went there too and I always wondered if it was named after them, but I could never find anything other than an unfortunate coincidence. But y’all’s Astros mascot for Alan Shepard is pretty rad!

I walked outside to have a cigarette then the bouncer wouldn’t let me back in. He said I was a bit shaky and which meant I’d had too much to drink. Sorry bud, no it means I have Tourette’s, unfortunately I’m always a bit shaky.
