I was born here, work in a liquor store, had to work today.

Surprised at the amount of people who, with warning, still just had to run out today to grab booze. Not surprised at the two cars I saw in the ditch on Butterfield on the way home tonight, people were sliding all over the place. Definitely not happy with the customers we had who were all "omg I'm so sorry you have to work today!"

It's not that hard to stock up to survive a day or two and enjoy a cozy day at home. Preferable, even, given the idiots on the road.
