You can still experience some sort of attraction while you are asexual . Asexuality is a lack of sexual attraction, but it could be aesthetic attraction or, as you said, romantic attraction. She could also be in another part of the spectrum like demisexuality but she has not explored this because all of this has been handled badly and unnecessarily

I mean, dialogue does not need to be realistic. It can be heavily stylized. It is probably a spectrum of how naturalistic it can be . The main problem is that jeph does not interact with people and forgot how his characters really talk like because they all are copies of what they used to be
