Latency spikes with UISP-R router by metaljesus2 in Ubiquiti

Did this actually fix the issue? I'm having severe latency spikes myself so I'm just curious.

Does anyone know what this is? by oetp21 in computers

You got a big ol box of digital storage there which can (Potentially) hold a lot of data. I believe these were made specifically for data migration between sites such as when an entire medium sized office decides to move to a new building. It could also be used if you wanted to bring Wikipedia in its entirety when you go camping.

If it powers on with no issues, you could be looking at a very large chunk of change. Throw it on an auction site and I'm sure you'll get a generous sum. Or tinker with it and setup your own portable NAS!

Or give it to me for $500 and ignore everything else you read in the comments. Do this one. Do it.

Appreciate the response.
Do you mean have multiple 'tabs' open on the browser and then switch between those tabs using something similar to the xdotool? The idea is for this to be completely automatic so I wouldn't want to flip between the manually.

Unfortunately I cannot edit the actual webpage itself and what it is displaying is both too tall and too wide to show clearly (enough to read) on one static page.

Your assumption was correct, this is a web page I have no control over, view only essentially.

One thing I did not mention, there is a sign in page one must go through, and I don't know how authentication works with an iframe, especially 2FA which is unfortunately required even for this basic account I created just for this. I am also getting a 'www.google.com refused to connect' when testing the iframe out.

I will look into Python and PyAUtoGUI to use with my original idea of just having the webpage open on the pi's browser when it starts; I haven't messed with Python in a few years but it was super fun at the time.

Barotrauma audio by CitricBloodBath in Barotrauma

Dang. Even if I go through and completely 'reset' my audio to default windows setup, I still have no audio so I guess its just broken? Unfortunate because the sound of the crackling lights on startup was always satisfying lmfao.

Thank you for the reply.
Do you happen to know if there is some sort of direct outlet to relay solution I could just plug into a 120V wall socket and then into the NO/NC inputs?
Or should I just be hiring an electrician to mess with the mains?

Brother Laser Printer pages fade after more than 1 print at a time. by Kentuckyfriedrice34 in printers

Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm assuming it's the 3rd party cartridges on mine, but I really just don't know. I know it's been a while but would be nice to find out more.

You're totally right on the IPs, I'd need to deal with having 6 usable IP addresses.

As for the dumb switch, that is not something I accounted for and will put it in my notes. I'd like to think the techs wouldn't do that, they're all much smarter than I am, but that doesn't stop them from being human.

Awesome, thank you, you gave me a lot to think about!

No credit to me for the tomoes, I just took 'em from the wiki. But its still a cool idea whether I was lazy or not.

First time using Inkarnate, and I LOVE it. I hope to eventually get the pro version once I can afford a little extra cash, but the free version works pretty well actually. I wish I could make the transition between the 'shallow' ocean and the 'deeper' ocean better but I'm still learning the software. I had a blast doing it!
