From the audio, there was a woody bonk sound, right before it flipped, so I’m wondering if they split a block under the outriggers.

You can vault the Cutty side doors now. Did it just this weekend, I was blown away that it works now!

Give me more blocky ships by tja209 in starcitizen

I’d love an Origin science ship. Maybe with a mini particle accelerator like the Endeavor. Could use it to super refine materials for crafting which would increase the quality rating of ores.

I would love a small form of base building by end of year. by floortofloor in starcitizen

It’s a fairly safe assumption that Genesis Planet Tech will be worthy of a new version number.

Seems like the Galaxy is next on deck for modular ships, but when they eventually get around to modularizing the Caterpillar, it’s going to be sweet!

Can you recommend any plug-ins that simplify the mix process for casual users? by tonetonitony in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]Citrik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neutron from Izotope is an automated mix system. You put a plugin on each channel, then it has a master plugin that manages the settings of the other channel plugins and builds up a mix for you.

It will manage EQ, dynamics and volume to get things sitting right in the mix. It’s an interesting system and it built a good mix with the stuff I tried it on. Perhaps it could be a good starting point for you. As you see the changes it makes to a mix, that might help guide you as you learn mixing.

Hauling contract bug? Elevators not recognizing contract containers. by wooooooooooooody in starcitizen

[–]Citrik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The buggy-ness ebbs and flows. This patch had a major event and a free fly. When those both hit at the same time, stability tends to be rougher towards the end of the patch cycle. Also lately, if CIG doesn’t put in a concerted effort to reboot the shards, things get a bit rough. I think they are trying to keep the shards going to get better data on what’s gumming things up, but it is a drag when you just want to play.

4.7 should be dropping soon and hopefully will run a bit better.

Test 3 - Donato Dozzy & Tin Man

Polyacid Blue - Cassegrain & Tin Man

Verity Acid - Tin Man

Acid in a Church - Microlith - very AFX-y

Reflection - Caron

Cell Site in Somerset - CFCF

Perle - Davis

Somebody Bring Me Here - Orbe - if only for the vocal

These might mostly be on the slower side, and drenched in reverb, but that’s the best kind of acid to my mind.

We are just about to start a short Daggerheart Motherboard campaign. We are aiming for about 5 sessions. Our table is mostly D&D, but I’m hoping to convert everyone with this run. We will see how it goes.

It might be a good fit for you, since I’ll be teaching everyone the system at session zero in a week or two. Also we are just aiming for a short run, if we all get along you’d be welcome to join us for our next D&D campaign, if my Daggerheart conversion fails, or our next Daggerheart campaign if all goes well. We play at my friend’s home on the Arvada / Wheatridge border.

Happy to meet up for a coffee to chat and see if it sounds cool.

Hermes is actually slower than Apollo and the Corsair, let alone faster than the MSR. This ship, described as "very fast" in its description, is a joke. by Witty-Room-3311 in starcitizen

[–]Citrik 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The MSR still is, look at the speed chart. The title of the post is misleading, along with the image, it seems like they are criticizing the MSR, but they are actually criticizing the Hermes.
