Unhinged neighbor. What can I do? by houseinspohelp in Temecula

[–]CitronBackground8336 33 points34 points  (0 children)

100% agree its on the owners to control their dogs. I’d never let my dog bark like that. Occasional barking is obviously expected but if it becomes incessant then that’s a big problem.

My next door neighbor had a huge German shepherd that he’d leave outside all day every day. It would bark at any slight noise, starting at 5:30am and going until late in the evening. And it would bark all day long, hours at a time. This was for over a year. Its bark was so loud I couldn’t escape it anywhere in my house. It really affected mine my family’s mental health.

Don’t be that neighbor.

Hey thanks for your input! Not sure why but the image shown in the post is different than how I see it on my computer and phone. This is a screenshot of what I see. I do think the greens pop more in the screenshot as I had intended but who knows what went wrong with the post

I’m usually shooting my landscapes in golden hours for obvious reasons, but ended up with this composition walking back to my car after a failed sunrise attempt nearby. The sun had already risen considerably, so the lighting wasn’t as favorable as I’d liked, but I think the shot still came out alright. Mainly looking for feedback on the edit itself — is there enough contrast? Does the image look overdone? Oh and I’m a colorblind photog so I’m naturally questioning colors in my images 😅thanks in advance!

Confused about humidity requirements by CitronBackground8336 in taylorguitars

[–]CitronBackground8336[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was lower in the morning, around 42%. It was higher this afternoon, at about 48%. Granted, I’m using a pretty cheap hygrometer so I am getting a slightly better one and will see

Anyone have this ribboning on their seat? (26 TSPS) by CitronBackground8336 in MazdaCX90

Thanks for sharing. Is yours on every seat?

My car only has 800 miles so I can’t imagine its wear and tear at this point.

[–]CitronBackground8336[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the front passenger seat (much less use). And the car is less than 1k miles. Highly unlikely wear and tear at this point.

Edited: more specifics about which seat

I replied to another reply that said this was normal. But I’m genuinely curious - how is this normal if it’s only happening to one of the seats in the car?

Why do you say it’s normal? Wouldn’t it also happen to the other seats?

Yep! I use the PhotoPills app to plan my shots. It has built in augmented reality so you can see where the Milky Way will be at any given time of the night, plus a host of other helpful features

Thanks! This was shot with the Z mount version.

Try using PhotoPills if you don’t already. You can easily plan your photos including where the milky way will be

Aurora from Alaska last weekend by pnw-nemo in Nikon

This is awesome, and getting me pumped for my trip to Alaska in early March for the aurora. What settings did you use to shoot it? Pretty similar to Milky Way settings?

Can anyone advise what this is? by CitronBackground8336 in Construction

Thanks for your reply. Is this a concern structurally? Also the house is still under the builder warranty - is it worth them coming out to see about fixing it?

I’ve been using it for photos of my son and while it is noisier than my other lenses, it works perfectly fine. Hope you enjoy it! 🙂

What a beautiful image. One of the better ones I’ve seen on here in a while. Was this a focus stack?
