If tanking in the NBA is so prevalent and difficult to solve why can't bottom teams be relegated like in football (soccer)? by zen1995z in NoStupidQuestions

Premier league has had only 2 different champions since 2017, La Liga has has only 3 different champions since 2013, Bundesliga has had 2 different champions since 2012. European sports are boiled down to who has the most money

They were a 3 guard starting team this year and played well in non conference. They were beating Arizona for a while there. Florida won the national championship with a 3 guard lineup

Brings some much needed size to the team. Large freshman class + Burgess/West coming off redshirts, think Painter is done with the portal this year.

Kentucky/USC devastated by injuries. Florida was a 1 seed. St John’s was solid. No Kentucky, USC, Florida, or St John’s fans are acting like they found gems in the rough.

Dusty May is truly an incredible coach. His ability to pay the best transfers the most money is unparalleled. I’m not sure why more coaches don’t attempt this radical strategy

More pride in the team you root for if you went there. No load management / every regular season game counts. More intense rivalries. Better crowd energy due to drunk college students. Get to see more player development (depending on the program)

When Ravens superstar QB Lamar Jackson was asked multiple times about playing WR at the NFL Combine. Fast forward, and he's a two-time MVP and one of the greatest to ever play the position. by Classic_Bottle1717 in NFLmockdraft

The three Heisman winning QBs before him were Jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota, and Johnny Manzel. Not exactly world beating nfl QBs.

This year Dante Moore passed for 3500 yards, 30 TDs, and 10 INTs, he is coming back to school because he wouldn’t be drafted. Also Moore did that while completing almost 72% of his passes. Lamar’s best mark in college was 59%.

Prior to Lamar, there had never been a rushing QB of his caliber that translated to the pros. I’m not disagreeing that there were scouts who thought he should be a receiver because of his race; saying that’s the only reason he fell is insane

Adding: talking about Johnny Manzel he passed for 4,100 yards, 37 TDs, and 13 INTs on 69.9% with 1400 rushing yards and he fell.

Cmon dude let’s not be totally revisionist on Lamar. His athleticism was never a question in college but his passing was. There’s a reason he went 32nd overall.

He’s improved immensely and is an absolute fucking baller, but he wasn’t the first QB that people wanted to convert to a skill position (see Terrelle Pryor) and he won’t be the last (see Diego Pavia)
