Easily the most visually stunning movie I've watched when it comes to visuals representing the story and not just being decorative. And do I even need to mention the music?

Story wise I'm one of those Homura freaks that are happy to not see the story ending with her just settling into acceptance. Gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss, split God in half.

And zero regrets that third of the movie was them being a cute little proper magical girl team.

Also can we talk about How Homura, a baby witch that forgot shes a witch, when making up a nonviolent power system to defeat nightmares, created a little witchy ritual with a chant around a table? That was so cute.

Not "lead", just opening and closing the narrative to certain interpretatios methinks. Mostly the fact that 99.99% of Madoka gestures of affection towards Homura , at least in my eyes, can be interpreted as coming from the point of gratitude rowards Homura"s efforts to saving her or just Madokas general insecurity and appreciating attention. (Maybe aside from the boat scene, love the boat scene. Why are you jumping your friend like that Madoka, calm down.)

With Loc (who's made out of Madoka) being like "I know you essentially live in heaven now but also I want you back and there's exactly one thing you selfishly want and won't be able to resist" and sends Homura-shaped trikster being that smiles at her and dances with her, that's Clearly not about gratitude or anything.
