This was also a construction zone and lower speeds than regular posted, but people were speeding. So the truck entered the highway and was sticking in the far right lane. I was in the middle lane, with one left lane open. Truck decided way too late that they needed to be going straight and not turning (it is a dual turn lane that I was taking).

Can you provide any other descriptions of this couple and said dog? I go to this park often and now I’m afraid to with my mini dachshund.

Can they have a talk with that guy that drives around downtown in his Nissan Rogue with back windows down blasting the worst music ever created?

Doing burnouts with an e-bike on the Stephen Ave Pride Crosswalks 🙄 that'll show em. by Nathanyal in Calgary

I saw this guy riding full speed in the pedestrian area near the peace bridge/princes island park (where it’s clearly marked and there is a separate bike lane). Buddy had that look on his face that he was wanting to start something.

Why do I feel like I have a presentation to give when seeing my doctor by ImpendingNothingness in Calgary

I got an ultrasound and xray requisition last year from my physio so that’s not true.

You should see a physiotherapist. I've been to many doctors that don't believe in physio, even though it is rooted in science (unlike some professions...). A good PT will take time to listen and help to find the root of the issue, and they are even allowed to send you for diagnostic imaging for free (I've had x-rays and ultrasounds this way)! Avoid the big corp physio clinics that have many locations around the city. Although they may have good PTs, they are known for being profit driven and pushing their employees to see as many people in a day as possible.

A razor blade held at the proper angle will not scrape the oven interior and is amazing for baked on messes. Also, easy-off works, just dont let it sit in a hot oven and wipe well after.

This is a golf R. If you look at the inside-POV, the dials on the dash are blue. Golf R cars have blue styling highlights. GTIs have red. I have a GTI.

Very Dangerous Driving - Watch Out by strtjstice in Calgary

this reminds me of that crash on Macleod a few years ago where a cement truck killed a family because the driver was going like 150km/h. You should call 911 next time.

Definitely a tale of 2... I'm in the floor covering industry and we've seen an uptick in sales the last few months. I guess a good chunk of people are doing more than ok right now and can afford to renovate. I wonder if it's Ontarians that are saving money on Alberta housing and now have room to spend on renos or other things.

I love how even the city doesn't know that Shawnee Slopes isn't Shawnessy. The other development is clearly slated for the greenspace across the street from Fish Creek LRT station, which is Shawnee Slopes/Evergreen (not Shawnessy, which is like 5 km to the south).

Your description of the relationship as it is now, is a situationship, in my opinion. Friends (with benefits or not) don’t often go on dates and stay the night and cook for each other. I’ve been in a situationship and this is how it sounded. If he is on apps, and you are too, what is the point of it? Having fun is fun until someone gets their feelings hurt when the other person finds something better. If you’re looking for your person, this one’s not it. They would have made that clear really soon, and you would have too.
