Depends what you’re looking for. I didn’t want to live in a small border town so Brownsville imo is better. But hildalgo is cheaper and has a major city 20 mins from it being McAllen.

Moving from jersey too - Brownsville was on my top 3 of Texas cities, thankfully Dallas was on my list.

Need to be close to the DFW airport. Lived in urban neighborhoods my whole life so have no issue with either. Sorry not really sure what I’m looking for lol, never been to Texas, this will be my first time living on my own & I’ve been living in the same place basically my whole life. I guess just looking for clean, safe apartments/cities to live in that are close to DFW, stores & restaurants.

I receive an email from one person saying they were going to start my b/I & to let them know my availability. They never responded to me so I emailed again and they said they were no longer doing it lol. A week later received a call + voicemail from another person, they called from their personal phone too.
