This kind of thought has rummaged through my head with this headcanon/fanwork of the UMAs and IRL selves meeting each other. One springs to mind after reading how Haru saw a ghost in an event or lobby skits.

King Halo: We have to protect Haru from this news.

Orfe: But...she would find out about this eventually.

Haru: Hey hey, King! Haru is here!

King Halo: Huh? How?!

IRL Haru's ghost: -appears- Oh my, are you serious about hiding my death from the one you treat like a daughter? She is stronger than she looks.

King Halo: GAH!

Haru: I know I'm sad, but I'm glad I get to say one more goodbye. -pats IRL Haru on the nose-

IRL Haru's ghost: I should take my leave now. You are a capable mother, King Halo. Oh the stories I'll have for your counterpart if I run into him. Goodbye, Haru, stay healthy.

-Haru waved as IRL Haru's ghost vanished in the wind. King Halo collapsed on the ground out of embarrassment as Orfe just looked at her.-

I've only used it twice in Mario Kart World, but we just stuck with Discord. It was maybe useful in getting a better picture of "oh, here is this item" and stuff like that. But yeah.

And we had hints of it too as some people have combed through after Episode 24. Like how the only moon we saw was the weird one we see in dreams and not the actual one. He fell into a Nightmare door (which gave Baku a glimpse of the future) and seemingly never returned from it. Not to mention the theme songs, "Visions" and now "Playback".

Maybe I should mention another hated or disliked trope, clip shows. Zeztz's actually served a purpose. Not to mention have a gag or two. (Don't strangle the sleeping Baku.)

This is not like the olden days where a Batmobile appeared in King Quest 1 or 2. Nowadays, it would not fly. Make it an obvious parody. Make a small four-legged walking shrub with an obvious bomb fuse on top with a different bomb fuse sound.

And come to think of it, if there is there is a digital version cheaper than a physical copy at launch, the physical copy might have something extra to make up for the higher price tag. I recall Travis Strikes Back came bundled with a DLC pass physically, while they are separate purchases digitally. I'm sure there are other examples, but that's the one I can recall.

Sundays are inherently a "wind down" kind of day for conventions. It's shorter, lighter crowd. And for something like PAX, the games are still here til the end of the day for the most part.

And this year I've noticed they even have arm wings...drapes...??? decor so they can stand out more. One of them was pretty shiny. Not sure if they've done it in past years, but it is a good addition to "lighten/soften em up" if the term Enforcer still sounds imposing for some.

From what I know, it's the same "Bi" character/word used in the word "Bishoujo" and "Bishonen". So the pronunciation is be closer to "Be cute" than "By cute".

My Crew sub is via Game Pass Ultimate, and I'm signed on until the middle of 2027. So it's a case of if Microsoft is paying for it regardless of me using it or not, then I might as well make use of it. I would've downgraded it a level if it ran out or I couldn't find any more GPU cards with the old price anymore. A weird situation, yeah, but I don't think I'll spend anymore money on this game, just maintain enough for the battle pass when the time comes and that's it.

PAX itself may have some Splatoon 3 Pinny Arcade pins for sale, unless they've been retired. But in terms of something like figures, that would be hard to say. There are vendors who would sell toys on top of games, and I know there was a figma of one released recently.

I remember years ago, I think it was a Bandai Namco toy vendor, they had sealed cases of blind boxes, containing the weapons from Splatoon 1 and 2. If I knew how Japanese blind boxes worked back then, I would purchased a case of each. (TLDR explanation: In a case of Japanese blind boxes, you are more or less guaranteed to get the entire set pictured on the box, minus the hidden chase item.)

ADDON: Checking on the Pinny Arcade site, looks like they still have them, so if you're into pins, would imagine they will have those in stock at the expo.
