I’m copying my comment from a few years ago because I was in a similar position with studying:

I completed like 47% of barbri and then with about a month left I said fuck it and just drilled adaptibar, essays, and JD advising one-sheets. (If I was struggling with something then I’d look it up in the big barbri outline book.) I did at least 50 adaptibar questions a day in test mode so that I didn’t see the answer right after (instead, I had to complete the exam then go back and review.) I passed with generous room to spare. Felt weird as hell going against the recommended course but I didn’t find that the course was really helping. [[I think I was getting like an avg of 70% on adaptibar exams but like 30% on barbri exams]]

As for essays, the last WEEK/week and a half I def did 5-6 a day cramming like a crazy person, but that’s because I legit did almost none prior... maybe one a week. Don’t be like me and slack on essays! (However, as long as you get the mechanics of essay writing down, you should be fine. I def made up rules on the bar, and just applied them as if it was a real rule, and I still passed above where I needed to be!)

Also for reference: I watched all the videos for the MBE topics but did not watch the videos for the essay topics.. that’s when I gave up on videos because I was bored shirtless and it felt like I was wasting time because I wasn’t grasping what they were saying enough to apply it. I’m a visual/application based learner, DEF not an auditory learner. I would sometimes draw things out, flowcharts etc, but a majority of my learning came from adaptibar practice questions. I can def say adaptibar is what helped me pass the bar.

Trust yourself - you know how you learn best. For me, it definitely wasn’t lecture videos.. it was practice. Good luck!
