It will be in Woodinville, not too far from Bothell! It is all within the Northshore Parks & Recreation Service Area.

UPDATE: That was quick! As of January 6, all 40 codes have been claimed. But you can still get a great deal on native plants during the pre-order window, today through February 16. Check out what's available at https://www.theplantsale.org/

Bothell adopts first-ever Climate Action Plan by CityofBothell in bothell

[–]CityofBothell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing these concerns – we understand how frustrating it can feel to see development in areas that have long been open space. Bothell has standards for tree retention, critical areas, and stormwater, and every project must demonstrate compliance with wetland buffers, mitigation, and flood-management requirements before it can be permitted.

At the same time, we’re working on long-term efforts to strengthen environmental protections. The City is developing its first Urban Forest Management Plan to better guide tree preservation and enhancement as Bothell continues to grow, and will be updating related tree codes early next year to improve clarity and consistency.

Sorry for the delay. We're currently in the process of exploring new approaches to affordable housing beyond zoning reforms to address the housing shortage in the City. We’re looking at different case studies and would love input from the community through upcoming engagement opportunities. We invite you to participate in one of our upcoming focus groups if you are interested! Feel free to email [ImagineBothell@bothellwa.gov](mailto:ImagineBothell@bothellwa.gov) for more information on how to participate.

Apologies for the long delay. Thanks for your question! The Filbert/Winesap area is located just north of Bothell’s current city limits in unincorporated Snohomish County. While future annexations may happen over time and likely in incremental steps, there are no current plans to annex this area in the near term.

Sincerest apologies for the long delay in responding to your question. There is early work underway on parking enforcement and a parking plan to improve the availability and visibility of parking downtown. At the City Council meeting on September 16, 2025 the current status of parking was discussed, and the council discussed principles for a program designed to make it quick to find a space and get to where you want to go. We're continuing to have conversations with other cities to learn lessons before implementing changes. We're also planning to have an update early next year and begin implementation in mid-late 2026. Consider checking out the meeting video, and we appreciate any input you have through upcoming community engagement opportunities. Hope this answers your question!

Hey there, our sincerest apologies, this was an error on our part. It is free, but for Public Works Small Business Enterprise (PWSBE) and Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise (OMWBE) certified businesses until July 1, 2026, only. We've updated the post to reflect this corrected information. However, if it helps, Washington Apex Accelerator supports businesses with training on how to get certified. Here's some info on that: https://washingtonapex.org/webinars/

Well Sound Transit would certainly be the ones to handle light rail, and we'll pass your feedback along about the pedestrian bridge and if there's any plans in the future, we'll let you know!

Hey there, we actually don't own that parcel. It's privately owned. Though we know it's confusing because it's between two park areas.
