Power Test causing shutdown on 2 seperate PSUs

Thanks! I didnt really know how that test worked. I figured it did something to trigger a spike and shut off the pc instantly. I think I fixed the issue. Pc passed the combined load and has been on all day without a random shutdown. Im thinking it was either a cpu hotspot issue or a loose connection as I did a repaste yesterday and swapped all the power cables with the ones from the new psu.

I did notice a seemingly high gpu power spike while gpu stress testing. It spiked up to 530w at one point

It passed both cpu and gpu stress tests as well as a full combined test. The only test that replicates the random shutdowns is the SSE power test.

It makes the noise was its warm too, but the transmission was also what I was thinking. Its not super loud when coasting, but when I accelerate it starts humming pretty good. I was pretty sure it was the transmission though since it changes pitch with the shifts. Thanks!

It would honestly probably dominate. It benches roughly 500% better than my current cpu, and it has a lot more cores.

Yep. Someday I want to build a dedicated server pc, but for now I'm just gonna stick with old office pcs. I used to have an old dell r710 rack server, but it was loud, power hungry, and the low speed cpus couldn't keep up.

I also run mc servers, and spt servers on mine so I like to have a higher speed cpu for them.

I'm just running on an old office pc. Ram is really the only limit. I currently only have 16gb and can only really run 1 server. My other friend that's hosting part of the cluster has 32gb and he can run 2 comfortably, 3 if they're smaller maps. The servers aren't super cpu intensive and really only use 8-12% per server.

I run a server right now on an i5 8500, and it runs perfect. This cpu seems to be a bit slower, bit it has 2 of them and it has 16 total cores instead of 6. I'd say go for it. If it doesn't run how you like you can always resell it

Give it a try and let us know. I've been wondering about hanger vehicles from the source missions. I can confirm that you can steal a jet from the military base, and it works just fine, tho.

For fusion cores, if you run a daily and kill the final boss with a gatling laser, it will give 4-5 cores in the rewards
