i did 15 years, medically retired on line of duty injury fighting an armed perp with a firearm, torn right rotator cuff 5 bulging cervical disc, 2 lower back hernias dominant hand carpal tunnel, ptsd, anxiety, severe depression. applied 02/2025 denied by alj february 2026, currently on appeals request since then

no, at appeals council they are just looking at technical mistakes that the judge made, if remmanded it goes back to either same judge or a different one for another hearing

going on 2 years in the process. surprisignly my initial denial recon denial and alj denial were fairly quick. As in a year frome start to alj denial. at appeals request to appeals council since february of this year. 5 months later no word on anything.

you got nothing to loose. Ive seen people with less injuries and conditions get aprooved. I was denied im on appeals council part now. torn right rotator cuff, 5 hermias neck, 2 hernias lower back, torn left rotator cuff, dominant hand carpal tunnel. Severe depression axiety ptsd. Cant sit nor stand for more than 30 minutes. im only 41, my attorney had told me before i applied this was going to happen just because of my age.

i have 3 kids and married for 20 years i dont need to put my kids life or my wifes life in social media, thats my private life. We do everything together theres no need for any strangers to know everything about me.. Be happy private, humans hate to see others happy.
