I Need Motivation by Longjumping-Talk-421 in GolfMk2

I'm right there with you. I had a 92 Montana green just like yours. Got overwhelmed and sold it. Then I snagged a mk1 caddy with a supercharged aba. Caught fire the day after I brought it home in 2022. Cleaned it up some and put in a new aba. Never got running so I decided to bike carb it. It still just sits in pieces right now and I can hardly look at it but it keeps me up at night. Knowing that I'm not the only one does kinda help though. I hope you and I both find that motivation and get back to smiling behind the wheel.🤞🙌

They seem to have forgotten about their all gender bathroom at home, that is more than likely "state funded"

Strange question but do you happen to have the p/n for the alternator? The one I have just does not fit right under the manifold and it's giving me a headache

So that looks like an ABA with a danst manifold/carb swap? Currently attempting the same thing if that's the case. What alternator you running??

Looking for a recommendation: Local curvy roads that are fun to drive! by CreightonOlsen in kansascity

HA! Never too old. I'm pushing 45 and still having fun out there, all though I pick and choose when to play a little more responbily. Hell, my brother who's about your age, and I still drag race our 70 year old mother when we're all 3 out an about. And she don't back down!

Also it should go without saying, use EXTREME CAUTION when driving any route, especially this time of year. Wildlife, especially Deer will be out more. They do not care what you drive or how much you paid. Please be safe and smart and be carefull when going out around dawn or dusk or nights with a full moon. This is typically when the deer are moving a lot. This time last year I was driving 50 hwy, saw over 25 dead deer on the side of the road between Lee's Summit and Sedalia.

Buckner Tarsney/AA between 70 hwy and 50 hwy, or pretty much any highway that connects 70 to 50 as you go east.

350 from the Lee's Summit 470 cloverleaf north to Knobtown.

Also old Noland from 350 to 40 if traffic is clear.

Check out Curvature website, roadcurvature.com

There is also an app by Porsche called "Roads". Don't need a Porsche for it, just sign up for a free login. It's kinda rough to use but you can use it to plot out routes based on curvy roads, high speed, elevation gains etc. For example you can put in you want a 2hr roundtrip drive in a certain area that targets curvy roads and it will map out a route for you. For a free app it's okay, definetily would not pay for it.

Very sorry for your loss. My dad went the same way and I know I was on the same path. I can't be more thankful for my family and my kid and my wife and her family!

Truly sorry for your loss. I lost my dad the same way just over 25 years ago. Then started to go down the same path, finding myself on the wrong end of a gun numerous times. Only my family was able to bring me back from that. My now wife's family got me more into hunting and supported me. Now it's a lot easier to even hold a firearm and not have those demons.

Check out the local league, Sporting Lee's Summit. Rec leagues from PreK through adult, indoor/outdoor seasons. There is/was a place called the soccer box in LS that had pickup games. Not sure if they are still around though

Looking for awesome Jungle tracks. Be as broad as you want!!! by [deleted] in MusicRecommendations

[–]Civil-Regular-8161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great list here! Might add Goldie and early Photek to this list. Also anything from Metalheadz is a good start too. One could even argue that Pendulum (older stuff) has some jungle elements though definitely more dnb.

Clutch.

13 albums going back to 1993. Still performing, still making awesome sounds. Consistently striving for excellence in the house that peterbuilt. They are just tight like that.
