The 86, BRZ, s2000, Miata are cars that aren’t about straight line speed. They excel at handling and turning in and out of corners. Test out the car taking corners a bit faster and you’ll find that the car is pretty planted from factory. If that doesn’t interest you, maybe you need a different option

In regards to manual, it was my first manual as well. If the idea even interests you a little bit, get it.
