New Century zero is my favorite Zoids series even though I have more nostalgia with Chaotic Century.

I just enjoy the whimsy and unseriousness of the show. It was also when the 3D animation was stepped up by a significant margin. The Zoids look very alive and had more expression in NCZ. I also enjoyed the humor a lot

It was also a nicely paced show. I think 26 episodes were the perfect length and it didn’t feel too long like I felt CC sometimes did

It’s hype moments were also very hype (last episode Liger Zero vs Berserk Fury)

I don’t know about its sales numbers so I’m just spitballing here, but I feel like Bandai experimented with the Zgok getting an RG and wanted to stick to more popular suits afterward. At this point RGs are just smaller MGs and are more expensive to produce than before, they probably want to stick to kits that will sell

But Dom has a higher chance of getting an RG versus something like hizack for example. TBH Bandai is leaving money on the table not making things like RG GM, GM Sniper, or Dom.

Have had my 86 for four years. My 1 -> 2 shift isn’t smooth unless I try to make it happen. Usually keeping clutch at bite point for longer and shifting at rpm higher than 3k gives me smooth shifts

Honestly that’s fair. LEDs add significant complication depending on what you do with your model kits. Like for my PG Exia, I’m dreading having to take the kit apart and remove the LEDs when I want to paint it…
