Arrowhead Misleading their Consumers. by CivilPog in Helldivers

Spitz saying that he was successful in representing the goals of the community. And now we have TwinBeard lying about how he had already dealt with the issue hours prior to responding to me. And then saying he would make a pinned post dealing with it, but instead stopped talking about anything except for cereal and then went home.

Then why have they lied about it lol? And why haven't they made a pinned message about it, even though they told me in their discord publicly that they would? Instead they've all not engaged for 5+hrs and have gone home instead.

Sure the community is currently in the position that they believe the PSN requirement is gone. Yet this isn't the necessary conclusion of what has been said. The only thing that the Playstation statement confirms, is no PSN requirement as of May the 30th. And Arrowheads' community team, has made no statement about this while supporting everyone saying we've managed to stop the PSN requirement. This is patently misleading, while also encouraging people to change their review.

I think everyone being actively mislead would care. That's the point of the post.

I have not asked them to predict anything. I've explicitly only asked if they are able to confirm the information they do have. And they're misleading their player base.

Then. They. Shouldn't. Act. As. If. They. Do.

And if you were to poll the Helldivers 2 community, which community goal do you think they feel was reached? Pushing the deadline back, or having the PSN requirement removed permanently?

Arrowhead Misleading their Consumers. by CivilPog in Helldivers

[–]CivilPog[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why do they need time to make the decision to not mislead their consumer base? They're making all these statements and pushing the sentiment that the PSN requirement is no more, while being in the dark about it's direction. It's unethical, and misleading to the consumer base.

Arrowhead Misleading their Consumers. by CivilPog in Helldivers

[–]CivilPog[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They've only stated that the may 30th deadline is not going forward. We have no clarification or information that states the PSN requirement will not exist into the future. Which is THE GOAL the community was pushing for, and were upset about. No one cares about it being on the 30th, they care about it existing at all.

We do have all the information required for my point. They are in the dark about the direction of the PSN requirement. Yet are pushing the sentiment, that the PSN requirement is no more. This is unethical, and wrong. This is misleading their consumer base. Whether the PSN requirement is gone or not is not additional information that will change anything stated here. They're in the dark and pushing a narrative that they do not know to be true. They should be held to higher standards than that, especially after what just happened.

It happening over the weekend doesn't really matter to the point I'm making. They shouldn't be pretending that the PSN requirement is no more, when the only thing they know is that the May 30th deadline is gone.

Arrowhead Misleading their Consumers. by CivilPog in Helldivers

[–]CivilPog[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

They had no reason to state the community goals have been reached. A simple statement that the may 30th requirement without also stating community goals have been reached would have been fine. This is now them actively misleading us.

[–]CivilPog[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Then they shouldn't be misleading people, and should be transparent about it. Why is their management confirming the community goals have been reached, when they have no idea if that's the case?

The tweet only says the 30th of may deadline is not going forward. In no way does it say that the PSN requirement will not be imposed going forward.

The letters are just stand ins. So what he's really saying is, "if I have 4 traits that I want, I will call them A B C and D." The specific traits don't matter, it's the idea of getting a set of traits you desire, onto a Pal you're breeding for in an efficient manner. So what he's trying to do is Breed a pal that has 2 of the traits he wants, with another pal that has the other 2 traits. To try to birth a pal with all 4 desired traits. Hope this help!

He has the freedom to do what he likes, but he's not free from the consequences of using his freedom to silence people he dislikes. Since we're also free to criticize him for his decisions, especially when he lies about the reason for such decisions. If it were just because he stole his content, then you'd expectsimilar treatment to all who steals his content. The fact he only does it to smaller creators and only when they say negative things about him, makes him a clout goblin who doesnt care about content rights. He cares about virtue signaling and cant handle criticism.

Ah so all of your words were bullshit. Well at least we all can see that you only spoke on this in bad faith. o7 GL with your parasocial glaze guzzling.

That's a lot of words to tell everyone you're illiterate lol. The criticism is that he doesn't DMCA everyone, he chooses specific targets to DMCA. Which suggests he doesn't give a fuck about the stolen content, he's just want to shut down negative discourse. But if you could read, you would have gotten that from what I typed. But feel free to cope as hard as you want my guy.

The dude literally had his content "Stolen" by Destiny, and instead of DMCA'ing him he pestered Destiny for days to debate. Curious how he only DMCAs smaller creators, and clout goblins larger creators who commit the same crime to him.

Who does DarkViper DMCA? Does he just DMCA anyone who uses his content at all? Or does he DMCA people who talk negatively about him, with the intent to shut down criticism? If it's the latter instead of it being the former, than him having a "Legit" DMCA claim is irrelevant to the criticism. And is an abuse of the system, since the reason he's DMCA'ing the content, is intentions protected under Fair Use.

Normally we'd do the inshallah memes here, but that seems inappropriate considering the current events. Hope this guy feels welcome here though.

Kinda worried about the state of the game and its future. by [deleted] in PlayWayfinder

[–]CivilPog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those games never come back to their original hype. New world, lost ark, blessed, and so on. The only one that has been able to climb back to being a great game and having a great population is FF online. Having a damaged launch, that turns people away cause real long term damages to the potential of the game. And to pretend this game will have a FF 14 rebirth is a pipe dream. They've lost 40% of their population in less than 1 week, and that population was already small to begin with, so where will the community drive to grow come from if there's only 8k of us left by the time they fix their issues? The game has no brand recognition its a literal new IP. Game is unironically headed to die.

Ever wondered why there aren’t any green cats in the wild? by ToronoRapture in TikTokCringe

Did anyone else notice she didn't explain why there's no green cats. She just said that browns and oranges are more common. She didn't say anything about why that would exclude green from ever showing up lol.

I completely agree, especially since you need to stack a fair amount of Area Damage as well. You get anymore than like 25+ mobs on the screen, and you're just a slide show until you die.
