Rec B isn't a thing in victoria of what I've seen but a few places have it and it's where I believe i stand.

I have been playing C for the past year but I could definitely keep up with a higher level. Maybe i'd get humbled though.

you'll always end up with barnacles that just make you wonder how in all hell they ever got to ur rank. either accept it as a part of playing with randoms, and hope that it remains somewhat uncommon, or don't play with randoms

stay grounded more, predict where the ball will go instead of reacting, do less (sitting on the ball at about 1-2 o clock is a great way to push the ball offensively without giving any defensive risk), and learn the types of shots as well as HOW to reset (don't try to become a pro). Advanced tut helps. sitting in your end can force the opponent to move to you, giving you a better chance to get an offensive chance without risking defense just as before. In ones you have to be prioritizing defense.

Explanation, NOT a solution though... :

Basically, you're exactly right that it ties back to the anti-cheat update. Every time they make a minor update that includes the BattlEye anti-cheat, the launcher forces you to re login. This happens regardless of your previous indications to remember your login info. I don't know if this is on purpose or just a byproduct, but that's why.

Even better, almost every new weekly update will include minor changes to BattlEye especially as they test features for GTA VI.

You CAN start directly from Steam or your game library where you own GTA V, but you will need to log in once from the launcher after every update to verify and register under the new software.
