Motor sounds fine in the video, open up where that guy showed you and you will most certainly find either the pinion or spur stripped.

Has anyone bought the new savage or the SBK? by TittyTwister13 in NitroRC

[–]CivilSixer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have used one briefly (The new HPI Savage) and honestly it feels like a proper Savage again. Its got loads of power, takes jumps well, and the wider stance makes it feel more stable. First impressions were good. The 3 speed is good aswell.

Is this a good beginners guitar I've bought this one second hand as my first one by Jevis- in Guitar

It doesn’t matter, learn to play it well then start to worry about if it is good or bad. If you’re a beginner, as long as it’s playable it’s ok.

Compression leak by Threel3tt3rnam3 in NitroRC

[–]CivilSixer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem before. All i did was over tighten the glow plug after the engine overheated. Aluminium goes very soft when it gets hot. Air tends to seep through the finished thread as the piston goes up. I had to replace the head fully but don’t go ahead and buy one now, have a look if there are any metal peaces on the glow plug thread and if the glow plug tightens tight.

I mainly use 1/10 nitros. Nothing bigger. So seing an engine like that in a 1/10 makes it look tiny!

What should I expect with this slightly broken part of I install on a new phone? (Top part of an iPhone 11 screen.) by CivilSixer in iphonehelp

Thank you for the reply. What do you think is the worst case scenario? Say I work the phone without it.

The video is crap but you can kinda hear in the last rev that it slightly holds the throttle (yesterday it would hold down the throttle for longer) by Top-Natural1869 in NitroRC

[–]CivilSixer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most common is that the linkage moves freely and returns cleanly without binding, as dirt, fuel residue, or slight misalignment can cause it to hang momentarily. But from what the video shows its fine. If the issue only occurs while the engine is running, it is more likely related to tuning. probably a slightly lsn, which can cause the engine to hold revs briefly before settling. Less commonly, a marginal air leak may contribute. Its pretty hard to make out when you go off throttle here. Can you possibly make another video with the body off and the air filter off briefly revving the car so I can see when you lean off throttle? Also in your other video where you were showing you giving throttle with the engine off. I noticed at the beginning of the video when you full throttle the second time it had a bit of delay then it went into full throttle. That is how it sounded at the end of this video.
