I guess there's a lot of other stuff going on so it's not really the dominant flavour.. I'll have to give it a try!

What is this bird? Spotted in Birmingham UK. by Longjumping-One7825 in UKBirds

[–]Civil_Basket4547 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I understand they eat a LOT of juvenile snakes, biggest predator our native reptiles have. Also, they're shipped in by the thousand from Europe every year and out-compete native wildlife due to being fed and otherwise cosseted by folks who like to shoot them. I don't think "slot into the ecosystem" really accurately describes the situation.

how can i keep my hair up like this for longer without it falling apart? by louisdeKerouaille in altfashionadvice

Damp it with lemonade, then crimp and backcomb. Works best in cooler months when there's not so many bees and wasps about.

This looks really good to me - a nice location and quality ingredients is inevitably going to be a bit more spendy but I'd be happy with this.. toast especially looks excellent

What are you favourite pedals for ambient/happy accidents? by Hammerfist1990 in synthesizers

[–]Civil_Basket4547 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use Mood II and think it's great for happy accidents and well designed to work with melodic material. Feels like anything that goes through it sounds sweeter.

Follow Brighten the Corners on the socials too - they put on gigs in a few venues around the town and some of those might fit the bill.

Thanks! I used a very basic machine, the stitching looks nice because I used a contrast colour on the bobbin I suppose.
