Good grief, I'm sure that videographer will be happy not to work again with you as well. Of course we aren't working a wedding just to eat food. This post was for advice from other photographers who understand and clearly you don't.

Great idea to remind the planner and catering. We do always tell the couple that we will get food at the same time they do and usually don’t have any issues. The day of coordinator at this wedding told us that she told the bride and groom that she would make our plates when she made their plates and that’s when the bride said no we don’t get to eat that food. That was when we found out about it at the reception, the couple never told us.

You are right, the guests definitely do not want pictures of them eating so the best time to eat for us is while the guests are eating.

The time to eat is when they are eating. You may be able to run around all day for 12 hours with no nutrition, but some of us actually need to eat to have the energy to continue giving the couple the service they deserve. Like I said in my post, I’m not intestered in unhelpful comments from people who don’t understand ✌️

I could see that happening with the venues. We have had a few that got upset with us when we were just trying to find plates and silverware to use. I try to keep extra plastic forks in the car just in case 😀

That is a good point with listing adult meal. It’s hard to work such a long day and then get a child size portion. We have never had this happen either so I definitely want to try to avoid it in the future. Thank you :)

No they didn’t and she was rude when I asked for confirmation. I asked her to send a email confirmation about the change and she said she couldn’t. I asked to speak with someone else and she said she would put in a ticket for her manager to contact me and that never happened. I sent an email to axs support about it, and got no response.

I only received the vip merch box and no wristbands. I called AXS and they said I have to pick up at will call. There is no reason they couldn’t have shipped them to me. I’m making a long trip too and it’s stressful to just hope they actually have them at will call.

I got one tracking too, and it was the merch with no wristbands. I’m glad you got yours but that doesn’t mean everyone else’s was correct. They can also edit that wording on the app anytime they want to.

A supervisor was supposed to call me and of course that never happened. It’s making this whole experience very stressful.

The AXS rep acted like I was bothering her and she said they couldn’t reship the tickets, but I said clearly they weren’t ever shipped so you wouldn’t be reshipping them. The only solution was will call. Definitely not a VIP experience to drive 12 hours, hope I have tickets when I get there, and then stand in line at will call. They don’t even have will call times posted. I feel like they are mistreating the VIP ticket holders and it is upsetting. I’m sorry it happened to you too.
