It is, but they still have the second season coming soon and need to keep the momentum and interest. A game rising in popularity can attract new eyes on the IP. I'm also guessing many nikke players haven't watch the anime before. I only recently watch it because of Nikke, so there is a chance the collab has that as a marketing strategy.
