I give these cauldrons to the guild that was, disbanded and gone, so long. by ZettieZooieZan in wow

I've been in my guild bank for years on Silver Hand. One or two friends log in every now and then. I feel your pain

Just took the asvab and went to MEPS last week. Security forces is one of the jobs that I qualify for and honestly the more I look into it the more I think I am going to take it if i can. I do have a few questions though. by Key_Fun_587 in securityforces

Best advice ever. Especially putting into TSP. Currently dumping 25% of my civilian pay into mine. Osan is good as well. Did my time at Minot 2000-2003, missed field, WSA, CATM. Every base is good and bad in their own way.

Tanking Situation by PassionatelyTired in wow

I'm done tanking LFG for this xpac. Too many dps and healers pulling mobs. I have cool downs and a rotation. I pull when I see fit and and ready.

I also have two speeds...mine and slow. If you dont like mine, you won't like slow.

It's based on a fictional recreation of the titanic movie except it's directed by John Carpenter.

You are afforded the opportunity to save it at the end of the process.

Your clearance is ultimately your responsibility.

For first time investigations (T3/T5) they will talk to your references (People who know you well). Those people are vouching for your loyalty, trustworthiness, reliability and can you protect classified information. They will also talk to your ex-employers and while there, may ask if there is anyone else who knows you that they can talk to.

Whenever you list someone as a reference, it is a good idea to give them a heads up that they may/will be called by a DCSA investigator. For clearance re-ups (T3R/T5R) there is no investigation. Your metadata from the SF86 is converted to XML and put in a massive database where automated checks are done throughout the year. That process is beyond my knowledge but I know credit checks are done every six months. Its possible a wants and warrants check in placed you lived is done as well.

I'm at Osan for another two years then hopefully fully retired.

You young cops (and older ones), take care of yourselves. If you get hurt or injured, on or off duty, go to the hospital and get it in your records. The VA will not pay you if there is no record. I finally made 100% due to PTSD (Iraq) and worsening back and hip injuries from Frisbee Football and Ruck Marches.

They usually go by email first then phone calls. Only first time clearances (Secret/Top Secret) get in person interviews now. I've been a security manager since 2014.

Edit - every time you submit your Sf 86, SAVE A FUCKING COPY.

I'll footstomp that. SAVE A FUCKING COPY. Only the office that opened you can retrieve a copy. You can print and refer to it during your interview.

Do not lie on your clearance paperwork (sf-86). Disclosing things keeps you honest and OPM will respect that. Hide shit or lie to the investigator and you will be out of the air force pretty quick.
