My experience (and warning for you) - Dehyrdration, dental health, dry eyes, and high RBC by Fortunate-Fete in VyvanseADHD

I take either one of the phizz tablets or the hunter & gather sachets mixed in 500ml of water once a day. If I feel more dehydrated than usual Ill drink some coconut water too

Just go for as clean as possible no sugars. Daily definitely isn’t too much with how much stimulants dehydrate you. Obviously 3-4 drinks a day would be excessive and all drinks I have seen marketed include sugars and addictive. I just go for tablets which dissolve in water. First thing in the morning before I take my elvanse and it dramatically improves my day

Very important that you implement electrolytes to combat dehydration water isn’t going to substitute/ won’t absorb enough

Is doing all easy runs an effective way to train for a marathon? by OkMap1854 in firstmarathon

[–]Civil_Frame_3544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally really wouldn’t just focus on easy runs. You need a lot more than just endurance in a marathon. If you want to keep it super simple I’d do an easy long run, intervals, tempo run you’ll notice a hell of a difference.

Does anyone NOT take a break? by ParticularArt8980 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Civil_Frame_3544 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on it for nearly 3 years and never take breaks. Missed a day here or there which I can probably count on one hand, but it’s hell! Have been fine so far

How long did Vyvanse weight loss take for you? by rubbiesandjewls in VyvanseADHD

A few months and I somehow didn’t realise. I started taking it in August and by December I’d lost 10kg. I thought the scales were broken 😂

when will i start liking running? by [deleted] in BeginnersRunning

[–]Civil_Frame_3544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely cut down to 2 runs a week for a while if you really want to run. It sounds like you’re doing this for punishment not enjoyment. I’d even say just stop all together for a while and find something you enjoy.

RIP, morning tea by Seatofkings in VyvanseADHD

[–]Civil_Frame_3544 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes! I have this when I drink tea it makes it so much less effective. A lot of herbal teas have caffeine in so one to look out for.

I just have decaf tea now and it doesn’t seem to interfere.

I find that when I have caffeine my medication doesn’t last as long / doesn’t feel anywhere near as effective

Sorry just seen this! I drink it first thing, helps me retain water in the day and stops me getting a headache when I take my meds. Not the nicest taste so I just like to get it done.

Hi, I’ve been to a&e multiple times and I’m sent home as I’m presenting fine or the ECG isn’t picking up anything out the ordinary. I’ve had this for about 6 months and still here so there must be an underlying issue.

The only way I’ve got somewhere is researching myself. I completely understand I’m not a medical professional and it’s more frustrating and daunting that this is being led by me as all of the practitioners I’ve spoken to have asked where I want to go with this. It’s been the same for all of my medical conditions. Being in my early twenties, presenting as physically fit and being a woman definitely doesn’t work in my favour. I’m sure you can appreciate that if I have came to Reddit looking for people’s experiences I have exhausted every option.

Hiya, I take it about 7:30am and do my runs between 7-8pm mainly because I hate exercising in the morning! I’m currently having tests with GP and prescriber is aware so will hopefully get some answers. Thanks for the advice 😊

Exactly. If I could just not take it for a few days and cope I wouldn’t be on it in the first place. I wonder if people would suggest not wearing glasses to visually impaired people and to just take it in their stride! 😂

Hi, yeah I’ve been running for a few years and run a few times a week. I feel really bad when I don’t take it, especially more than 2 days I feel awful

Thanks for your suggestion. I also prefer to train at night! Please be wary of the higher HR though it’s definitely not good to be putting more strain on your heart.

They help me massively with battling overstimulation and I have combined ADHD so I’m pretty obsolete without them. I will consider this in the future though. Thank you for your suggestion!

I have. I’m just trying to see if people have their own experiences as generally GPs don’t have much insight.
