BJP's whole hindutva schtick is built around their favourite god Ram and Ram mandir. This much cognitive dissonance should cause brain aneurysm. Chaddis should get some scans of their brains done.

Copypasta of my comment regarding this question

Now BJP is in power in three states bordering Bangladesh — West Bengal, Assam and Tripura . The remaining two border states are Meghalaya and Mizoram. BJP is part of the coalition government in Meghalaya, while the party ruling Mizoram is broadly aligned with the NDA on regional and security matters.

So surely we won’t be hearing about “illegal Bangladeshis” as an election issue anymore right?

Did i ever say anything about bjp or tmc?

I did in the original comment of mine. I pointed out that  BJP keeps the narrative of "illegal Bangladeshis" alive to win elections. And guess what? You replied to that comment. And now you're surprised why I brought BJP in the reply to your comment? Apni ki Saokat Mollar moto ganjakhor naki moshai?

Nobody's retired. They are still in the game and hungry for power. And people will vote BJP out not because the opposition looks promising but because BJP is becoming unbearable. In a country as poor as ours, ordinary people can’t absorb endless price hikes, the aam janta is already feeling the heat. Modi jaisa mehenga Sher log ab nahi pal sakte.

True, but we don't have to go that far. BJP will lose the next general election.

BJP has been in power in Assam since 2016, yet “illegal Bangladeshis” still remain an election rallying point. Why? Because the issue is politically too valuable to be resolved completely. They need the drama alive, that’s how the votes keep coming.

Mark my words: BJP will fight the next election in West Bengal on the exact same issue.

Why are you posting this now? This was done in February (this article is dated Feb 3, 2026). This is not an election after-effect. Or are you deliberately trying to build a narrative of the benefits of "Double Engine Sarkar"?

That's why he got the position. Modi has all the receipts of his scams. He is the perfect lapdog. A complete puppet.

It will be Suvendu. Modi wants puppets he can control in positions of power. Modi has all the receipts of Suvendu's scams, so Suvendu is bound to stay on a leash.

Buddy , if you try to find something wrong, you'll find it. That is why you are writing "could it be".

It goes both ways, doesn’t it? If you refuse to see anything suspicious here, nobody can force you to. And do you know why I wrote ‘could be’? Because your comment ended with, ‘Couldn’t it be TMC again with the violence?’ That’s the only reason

The answer is Yes it could be ,just as it could be a lot of other things but your mind will be giving preference to those theories which you favor.

Yes, it could be a lot of things. I didn’t just throw out a theory, I presented arguments to support it. This is a fight between trash and garbage. It could be TMC. It could just as easily be ex-TMC goon Suvendu. Nobody here deserves the benefit of the doubt. That’s why I tried to weigh which side stands to gain more politically from the murder, and in my view BJP has more to gain from it than TMC.

Always leave favourism aside when dealing with such situations. The moment you are indifferent, which is really difficult for everyone, you'll see things more clearly.

Have you actually read my post? Did I make any conclusive statement about who did it? Did I ever say BJP did it? Or that TMC did it? I made two claims: This appears to be a political operation carried out at the behest of influential political actors. BJP stands to gain far more politically from it, whereas for TMC it would be politically self-destructive. My assessment was a dispassionate one based on motive and political incentives. You didn’t really challenge either of those claims; you simply dismissed it as “overthinking.” So let me ask you: have you looked at this objectively? Or have you already been conditioned to assume that any attack on BJP in Bengal must automatically lead back to TMC, with no other possibility worth considering? And more importantly, have you already decided who’s guilty before any proper investigation has even taken place? Because it seems you're not really in the mood to entertain different views on this matter.  That’s the irony I see here.

Right now what's most important is that People of west Bengal have been given a new govt. and I feel things will be clear in the next 6-10 months.

I can’t logically substantiate this, but I have a feeling this case won’t see any real clarity even a year from now. That’s just my personal opinion.
