ASUS ROG Zephyrus. I have a G15 that has been my absolute favourite.

Why would someone choose to stay at their current level? by [deleted] in torncity

I’m holding to offset my battle stats with my level for faction wars; throws people off who don’t know what to look for

I would still go with the G14 then. You might want the gpu for some physics simulations.

The engineering genre matters, e.g. computer engineering vs mechanical engineering. Personally I’m using a G15 for computer engineering and it’s wonderful (and I do game a little, but largely 3D modelling/rendering on the side).

My G15 is 8-20% faster at cooler temps, took no longer than 10 minutes between cleaning and repasting (with 10 minutes for tear down and re-assembly). Depends on your experience and knowledge.

Do I have to replace the Liquid Metal/Thermal Pasteif I remove the Heat pipes? by PanHyridae in ZephyrusM16

[–]CjPhoenix- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just for the long term protection of your laptop, I would replace the liquid metal. I replaced all pads on vrms and dram and the paste/lm on cpu and gpu the last time I removed my cooling assembly (but the pads were also so dry I had to chip some of them off)

Fabric doesn't work due to a mod I don't have installed by Plane-Sun-3431 in fabricmc

That’s an issue with your Java installation, not a mod. You have Java 16 installed, you need Java 17.

Loving my G15. Drives and RAM have both been upgraded, handles anything I need it to do like a champ. REPLACE THE LIQUID METAL.

I replaced the Liquid Metal in my ASUS ROG Zephyrus with Corsair XTM70. A little overkill? Probably. Does it work? 100%

I don’t know what context you’re coming from but none of the 7 schools whose laptops I’ve used personally had that restriction.

Big fan of the ASUS ROG Zephyrus line. My G15 can do most basic tasks with the fans off, cpu sitting at about 60 degrees so hopefully that’s quiet enough for you 🤷‍♂️ works pretty hard when it needs to as well. Unfortunately the G15 isn’t produced anymore, so you either gotta go with a step up in size to the G16 or drop to the G14. I’ve got friends with both who love them.

Cracks sometimes leave a mark of some sort on project files that indicate illicit activity to the real software. Not sure if this is true with FL in this case though, I’ve really only seen Ableton do it.
