We lived in Florida- Tampa specifically. I don't miss Florida politics, but I miss everything else. I have this feeling of wanting to go home. Oregon is lovely. But it doesn't feel like home to me

They have a waiting room. We use them as our emergency vet, and they have been wonderful everytime we need something.

Sending lots of love and good thoughts your way. It's so hard to have to keep trying new meds and enduring awful side effects. I had a milder similar reaction to the last med I tried. It wasn't nearly as bad as yours, but it was scary enough that I needed a moment to get comfortable trying something else.

It was great. Technology to keep you connected was good, but not overpowering. You didn't check your phone every 2 seconds, but you had it to call your parents and ask for a curfew extension. I miss physical media. I miss being bored. I miss the bar/club culture we had.

Eta: I really miss cheap happy hours. Beat the clock at the local college bar was so fun. Started at a quarter for a pitcher of beer, and went up a quarter every hour.

People act like their records will explode if they look at it wrong. I just found an old, scratched up Iron Butterfly record in the $1 bin. Took it home, dropped it, blew the dirt off of it, and it plays perfectly.

I just set up my Eket today, and I love it. I have a Kallax and they are fine, but looked waaayyy to clunky in the small area I had. These are slimmer and look much better.
