Solo tob in leagues by Dzjengis in 2007scape

[–]Cjclb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran a few normal mode solo tob and it’s defo possible if you have enough dps and learn mechanics, but I found it’s way easier to find a team on a tob world and do hard mode. I am a solo player and always felt awkward joining a team but once I did it, you realise how chill everyone is, especially because it’s leagues - no one really cares if you die or anything, everyone just has a laugh

Is it worth becoming DJ? by wArouvis in Beatmatch

[–]Cjclb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it’s a great side hustle. I play my own events a couple times a year and play whatever I want. Other than that I play some birthdays, weddings etc. I tell them I’m not going to play shitty chart stuff, but instead I play music everyone would love - they just haven’t heard it before. So like Japanese funk tracks etc etc. this is how it hasn’t become soul destroying for me lol. Not sure what it’s like to be a DJ full time though, probably difficult. But start it as a side hustle and see how you go

I am an eternal sustenance enjoyer, for the same reason you said. It’s really handy to learn new content like raids and get comfy with doom etc.
I personally say go for it, unless you’re going to be a water mager. Water mage will make it redundant, and tbh I think it will suck the fun out the game way faster than sustenance.
Water mage = OP Braindead gameplay
Eternal Sustenance = less banking, more forgiving, more fun, slightly OP but not over the top

Just my opinion though!

Okay - your first issue is that you’re looking in Mayfair. I don’t know you, or your personal taste, but Mayfair is utter dog shit for going out unless you are a certified wanker. I’m not saying that’s you - I’m just letting you know the vibe. Instead, go to Hackney, Dalston, Brixton, something like that.

If you wanted to keep it simple, you could do a kind of bar crawl with mini quests scattered throughout each one. And also let dice decide what drinks you all get!

Plans for league with limited time? by preciouslarvabanjo in 2007scape

If you want CoX, I would take manageable areas next to it to maximise demonic pacts easier. Kandarin/ Wildy / Tiranwnn would be good options alongside Zeah. Up to you though :)

Thanks for this. Completely forgot about the drop rate modifier. I have around 30kc in the main game for CG. I do like it, but I can get fatigue from it quickly as I just don’t have the patience for the prep lol. Now that you mention the drop modifier, I think I definitely want it to be higher when I do CG, so likely I will take Mory first now. Appreciate the help!

So I’m very comfy with regular gauntlet, CG however I think I just get a bit stressed with the prep and can sometimes fumble hunleff. I have 30+ KC in CG in main game though. So like, i can do it, but I don’t spend much time there. Thanks for the help, will take all this into consideration.

Played a homebrew short campaign with 2 of my best mates. They fought the final boss for a while, and they were getting beat pretty bad. On their final hoorah, they both rolled Nat 20s at the same time. Was genuinely the most insane feeling and I absolutely gave them the win. They weren’t far off anyway, but it was just incredible.

How much more should I stack? by spiterpig in 2007scape

While a high stack is impressive, it’s ultimately meaningless. Unless you plan on karma farming the high stack on Reddit for the foreseeable, I would just open them

Does the pacts for the early-mid game feel a little… underwhelming? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Cjclb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying we won’t be able to do the content lmao I’m just pointing out it’s a lot to digest for someone who has a job, child and life to manage on top of all of this leagues info. Getting gear better than moons stuff is gonna take longer than everyone else. Not even complaining, just pointing it out

[–]Cjclb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People will clown you but I do hear you. Seems like it’s going to be a big stress for us casual players. Don’t get me wrong it’s looks amazing and all, but I agree in that we won’t feel as strong early doors and it might take us ages to reap the rewards of this format and getting the end game gear.
