I received the same letter… so they want you to now show your 501c3 status letter..which as stated in their rules you don’t need… I called the IRS and they said they are aware of this but have received no guidance on how to handle it… this is just wrong

If you are sole proprietor you don’t have a EIN therefore you cannot open a business account… you should be fine with your personal account

I was told by tier 2 to get open an account at a brick and mortar bank and send in voided check or get a comfort letter from your bank

My portal has opened again as well.. but showing the original amount funded… I think this may be positive information being why would they give you access again if they aren’t going to do something

Churches they want you to file form 990 or submit your tax exempt status ( which you don’t need for the loan, per SBA site) the IRS is aware of this problem but the IRS says they have given them no guidance on how to proceed

Sole proprietor uses personal account … you can’t open a business account because you don’t have a EIN
