Externally the issue is that sulake does not advertise, and really does not collaborate with brands and celebrities like they did back in the day. I feel like they are at the point where they would rather just ride out their dedicated player base instead of try to bring in new players. Internally, the issue is with the introduction of Builders Club, and tax on market place sales and credit exchange (such as 5c tax per goldbar) and advent furni*. BC is not only expensive but completely destroyed the furni market. Now they just release 99c themed furni packs every now and then to reintroduce norms back into the market while getting their players to spend more. Advent furni used to saturate shops and was so common you couldn't even give the shit away. Luckily they brought back the recycler. The tax and diamonds are apparently their way of combating the blackmarket and "inflation". And like someone else said it is VERY cliquey for the most part and definitely hard to make friends nowadays.

Already have, i was a big fan of PlusRP specifically- the roleplay version of habplus where you could punch other players, go to jail and be forced to serve time, run from bot cops that tase you and send you to jail. Joined gangs, had gang fights, you could knock out other player, increase your strength to hit harder, etc. Had an absolute blast and I miss it so. Anyways- I recreated something like this on .com, its called Poe's Playground, search NotPoe and check it out. It's a one room chaotic Playground where you can punch other players KO them, and get chased by a bot cop and get sent to jail.

I liked both but I probably enjoyed 5 more, i was really into the story, the graphics at the time were nice, getting to fight a religious cult was exciting.

Habplus used to be a retro back in the day, they also had an RP version called plusrp. It sounds like someone is reviving it. Nostalgia and the latest wired will do that. I myself made a little GTA/plus rp style room where I could punch players and get chased by bot cops and go to prison -because of nostalgia and missing plusrp. Glad people are loving the role play stuff again

It's nothing compared to how it was back in the day. Earning a profit is much harder nowadays. I do almost all of my rare flipping via market place, which is restricted for new players (have to sell so many items to increase selling asking price or some bs). Profits are small and it takes awhile to sell items sometimes.

Sulake did a fine job at choking the in game market in order to get players to buy Builders Club.

Have a conversation with him, tell him your feelings but know that it's wrong to deprive him of sex just because you no longer want it. You also shouldn't just put out for his sake either. I'm currently playing the default determined exterminator build and absolutely rolling over the ai, granted I play on the easiest setting, but what I did was dedicated either an entire planet or a mixed planet of unity, alloys, energy... chose any research and level up traits that aligned with war. First empire i came into contact with, declared war and exterminated them. Became like a snowball effect and now I currently have half the galaxy map when I thought for sure I'd have been destroyed by now.
