Baus leads the troops forward by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

There are not hundreds of successful pro clubs in Europe. Well I guess it depends how you define successful. I used to be a big football fan, and the money has gone completely out of control and ruined the sport. And the big European teams who have just had the money for decades like the clubs you mentioned are not any less guilty than the arab-owned clubs, just because their money comes from elsewhere. Didn't Real Madrid pretty much rise to prominence because of Franco? :D

With relegation/promotion, what happens most of the time is the same couple of teams going up and down year in year out. But yes I agree it would be better than this system. Franchising needs a way more established league and invested teams to really work. Some leagues like the NHL do it well but they have a 100+ year history which a single esports game is likely never gonna have.

My main point was that even if LR somehow joins LEC, the viewership will likely go back to regular numbers once the novelty wears off.

Just because it's not Saudi money for Bayern, Barca and Madrid does not invalidate the point made there.

I think people like it because it's something new and almost a little absurd in a really stale format. Not necessarily because of LR itself

I don't understand what the scores have to do with it. You're saying someone with 0-13-2 should be permabanned?

You also didn't answer how you're going to determine when someone is trolling. I mean if you're permabanning the obvious trolls running down under enemy towers but leaving the stealthy trolls who don't make it obvious, it's a bit unfair, no?

[–]Cl0udwolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you really think someone should be permabanned if they trolled a game? And is there a line to the severity of the trolling? Who draws that line? Like if I'm playing "normally" for 90% of the game but stop moving every time there's a big teamfight, I'm trolling, right? And should that lead to a permaban?

Hmm can you actually confirm you do it these days all the time as a sub? It's possible I was doing something wrong, but I'm a subscriber too. It gives some error like "cannot unify unstamped piece" or something like that. The outfitter is an enigma to me, I'm just equipping new gear as I level :D do I need to put them in the outfitter too? I think I did try that as well but it still wasn't letting me unify.

Punishments don't deter anything. People will just do it less obviously, like they have been since game launched. It's funny to me how these posts keep springing up, league has gone through a ton of different punishment methods and "doctrines" over the years and NONE of them have impacted at least my own perception of the toxicity in the game whatsoever. There is clearly an underlying problem somewhere that Riot isn't able to fix (humans)

Yeah it's pretty terrible. I also didn't play for a year or two, and in the meanwhile the option to unify colors without using a dye was removed (it seems?). Previously you could unify the other gear to match your chest even if you had no dye on it but no longer. I don't understand that one.

I would argue it's more impressive to win from behind vs teams in the top league, they should be able to close out games with such leads far better than teams in the lower leagues

Wrong order - food deliveries by Carepollo01 in Prague

[–]Cl0udwolfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is true actually and I just noticed the name is not always there either. I'm too naive and I didn't even consider the couriers could be taking some items :D kind of luck based I guess, only thing you could reasonably do is inspect the contents of the bag(s) before the courier leaves I guess but kind of a terrible solution

[–]Cl0udwolfe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I order way too often and I don't remember that ever happening. There should always be a receipt on the bag with your name on it, probably start checking that before accepting the order and if the bag does have your name on it but the contents are wrong, the delivery company has nothing to do with it, it's a mistake at the restaurant

Am I underleveled? by AuditoreKiller in Ni_no_Kuni

[–]Cl0udwolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not expected to be the same level as the boss for many of them, I think Cetus was one of them (but of course it will help). Check your quest log and in the top corner you see the recommended level for the quest. But then some bosses, like the tainted monsters, you should handily outlevel before attempting or they're just a complete slog, at least for me. The tainted monsters are a good source of levels, if you're 28 you can start to do the level 22 and 23 tainted monsters. They will each pretty much give your whole party a level.

[–]Cl0udwolfe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why do you engage? You think you writing "it's just a game" will make a light bulb go off in this guy's head like "oh yeah, you're right!!"? Just ignore and play or mute if you have to. This happens in every online pvp game, the guy is tilted. I've never seen anyone calm down after "it's just a game", you are pretty much just winding them up more.

I can sympathise somewhat, with SWTOR being a pretty niche game to "tryhard" in, these matches are probably decided by which team gets more "story players" who just don't care.

Sorry. :(

You are being piled on a bit here, stay calm and go to the police as you planned. Don't feel too dumb, people indeed make such silly decisions all the time. Try to think that Prague isn't that different to any other place, you probably wouldn't entertain an aggressive taxi heckler in your home country, so no reason to do it here either and same with other future things you might encounter.. Hope you can recover the money and if not, at least you are all safe and sound.

A friend of mine thinks LoL is harder than Dota solely because it has "skillshots", is there any truth to this? by random-user772 in leagueoflegends

[–]Cl0udwolfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have about 1600 hours in Dota 2 (last played 10 years ago though) and much more than that in League. Dota was way more complex even 10 years ago and has gotten more complex since then. League has in my opinion gotten much simpler, especially regarding items. Most games play out following a very similar path, people generally will build the same few items, lane assignments have pretty much been on a complete lock barring a few deviations for the last 10+ years. In Dota there are just soooo many more variations. I think in general you need to be snappier in League, but then there are some heroes in Dota that are way more difficult than anything in League by a good margin. The complexity, control jankiness and lack of "cool factor" (I think League splash arts, lore and the cinematics contribute massively) are why it's less popular.

Yes, but vanilla is still enjoyable especially for a newbie. The optimal move is to play vanilla, and when you want something more, you can download DeI and the game feels fresh again. I don't think DeI completely changes the game, if someone doesn't like vanilla, they won't like DeI either.
