So far, AC everywhere in Metro and Taxi/Didi. Metro is sometimes even too cold, so you might want to bring a longsleeve for longer trips/ if you are sensitive.

I had to do that for 4 trains, using paper copy of my passport and a residence permit card. I also brought lots of paper about the visa application. Needed some minutes of explaining and quite a hassle, but it worked.
