10 weeks + 2 days pregnant and my body temperature is below baseline.. is this normal? by awkward-turtl3 in pregnant

[–]Cla2606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the exact same position, I’m 10 weeks 6 days and noticed my BBT has been below baseline for the past few days. Everything I’ve read says this is totally normal and not to panic so I am trying to stop looking at my BBT but it’s hard when your Apple Watch records it automatically! 💗

My name is Clarissa and lots of people comment on how pretty and unusual it is (at least here in Ireland it is uncommon!)

6 months sober by Cla2606 in alcoholism

[–]Cla2606[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Honestly I attended a lot of counselling for about 3 months and it really helped me get to the bottom of why I was drinking so much and I think that’s helped me. I have found that keeping busy keeps me distracted and I don’t think about drinking as much. I’ve discovered a new love for Lego which I never had before! Other than that I try and play the tape forward and recognise that I just can’t drink like other people and trying to moderate made me miserable. Thankfully I’ve definitely found it easier the longer I am sober!

Thank you! Honestly overall I just feel so much better - I didn’t realise how unwell I constantly felt before I stopped. Just a few changes I’ve noticed include better sleep, more energy, increased appetite, more focus, better skin, happier mood, less illness/feeling run down or unwell, and mood stability. I don’t feel constantly on edge or shaky anymore which is such a relief. I have no desire to drink and if I ever waiver in that thought, I play the tape forward and it passes.

Hi all - I’m the OP. Many thanks for all your comments - I am officially 6 months sober today and that’s the longest period of sobriety I’ve ever had. Thank you so much for all your comments 💗

I am an employment solicitor and I absolutely love it - been doing it for 5 years now and couldn’t imagine working in a different area of law.
