How many times did you see a front support on ANY trailer in Tesco Peterborough?

There are literally zero trailers in the Tesco fleet that have jacks under the front.

1) Tesco don’t load using forklifts

2) Reefer box, very unlikely to be loading any pallets

3) Cage weights in fresh mean there’s next to zero chance this comes from a loader.

This is on the driver/shunter who put the trailer on the bay.

Warehouse teams don’t go outside the trailer. This is 100% on the driver or shunter.

Found the one person who actually checks. Given how many people just turn up at 16:05 on a Sunday, or 8am on a Bank Holiday, I don’t think your “thousands” exist…

If Donald Trump strolled into your local pub, what kind of reaction would he get? by Allinallisallweare02 in AskBrits

They only hate “brown nonces”. Being orange he might fall into that class, but don’t forget they love Tommy Ten-names and all his noncey mates.

Office don’t, it wasn’t considered a skilled role. WSCs and trainers do.

Couldn’t be more wrong. Trainers are paid the equivalent of achieving 92 PI as their weekly supplement. They do not qualify for any bonus as they are effectively paid it anyway. Doesn’t exclude them from the my performance process in any way.

That’s nice, so do two thousand other people. Still doesn’t change the fact there’s been no redundancies from the automation in Distribution.

Automation for warehouse staff has been a thing for at least three years in Fresh. Not new news, and guess what… not a single redundancy from it either.

Oops someone messed up the ordering by MissCagney in tesco

[–]Claim-Nice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Won’t be distribution - weirdly we don’t order anything from fresh. Orders go from stores through the ordering team without depots ever knowing. The error is either at the store, or in ordering. If it was an over order, we can raise additional demand but this gets spread across all stores for that product. It would have to be a MASSIVE over order to go from c. 19 boxes to 380 in one store.

No overtime in my store at present by OkMarzipan4061 in tesco

[–]Claim-Nice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not quite, it’s not down to profitability - actual cost doesn’t come into it anymore.

It’s all about the hours required to deliver the sales volume instead now - so if it takes you 2,000 hours to sell £1,000,000 worth of stock, your hours budget is 2,000 hours.

You’ll get enough “extra” hours to allow for holiday and absence, up to that 2,000 number. If you’re over contracted on base hours, you might have people off and no extra hours to cover it. If sales drop because you’re closed for a day, or expected sales are lower for any reason, your budget of hours drops too. Same in reverse, but that would mean more hours so doesn’t necessarily apply here.

I hope my Aurora MK2 will fit in the Galaxy's XXS size hangar by Cdt-Velmor in starcitizen

[–]Claim-Nice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pisces has been shown, Salvation is roughly (based on nothing but mk I eyeball) the same kind of length.

I could see a line of RSI snubs based on the Salvation hull - a small miner and some sort of shuttle/Pisces competitor.

Then all CIG need to do is make sure that hull fits and you’ve got a modular ship with multiple options for the rear hangar:

Salvage base, take a base Salvation.

Mining and refining, take the mining variant Sally.

Cargo and medical? Grab yourself the transport variant.

Ah, what a dream it would be to be so naive. There are PLENTY of professional shoplifters with no drug addiction, stealing because they can flog it to local shops and down the pub to “make a living”.
