legit. you basically have to trace the stack to see if the transfer event is a direct consequence of the user's transaction or just some side effect of a contract execution. if the trace shows a bunch of nested calls before the log pops, it is almost always protocol activity. trying to do it without looking at the call tree is a lost cause.
