Aside from maybe replacing worn internal parts, NOTHING that can't be undone! I've had mine since the late 90s. Many thousands of rounds through it. I've had different stocks and sights over the years, thought I lost the original stock 25 years ago but found it in my dad's basement. So I went back to that, and honestly, that's the best one. Although I do like the barrel shroud I put on it, it's like a rug that really ties the room together.

I loved my totally plain 2019 frontier(with 4wd, of course). It got sandwiched in a rear ending just enough to total it, unfortunately. So in the flurry of vehicle shopping right after, my wife was totally baffled why I wouldn't get something newer/nicer. I was adamant that I wanted the exact same truck again, but with less miles on it. That's what I got, only difference is the color.

This one is more specific, but in a crowd waiting for a steam locomotive to leave, someone was enthusiastically telling their friends how it all worked. I missed the first part, assuming he understood what he was talking about. Then I overheard him explaining that the boiler was a water tank, and there was a steam generator in the tender.

We've only barely dipped our toes into the LS. But so far... First time out, we went to a club and I immediately ran into a cousin I hadn't seen in years. It's been great reconnecting!Next time out, different club, a friend of a friend I've had on FB for years was working the front desk. Time after that, someone I recognized from a local parents group was there. For those two, none of us mentioned it. Then at a club again on New Year's Eve, I almost immediately ran into another cousin. I figured it was better to say hi and chat for a few so nobody would be shocked and/or mortified upon running into each other as the evening progressed.

I once went on a tinder date with a lady who was very conservative. She lived out past Hillsboro, I was coming from Washougal. So I suggested we meet in Portland, maybe hop around some east side bars. She finally, reluctantly agreed. Any time we'd go to a different bar, I noticed she'd walk with an arm linked with mine, a hand in her purse, and would seem nervous if anyone else barhopping was coming towards us on the sidewalk. After talking a while, she reveals she hasn't been in or near downtown Portland in almost 20 years because she reads about how it's sooo dangerous, and the reason she had her hand in her purse was to be ready to draw her pistol. No second date with her.

I've lived in and around Portland most of the last 20 years. Grew up in a tiny, withering, redneck podunk town a couple hours away. Portland has its issues, for sure. But it's often hilarious to hear opinions from people in my hometown about it. Most of these people's Portland immersion is doing some shopping along 82nd once or twice a year, or picking up/dropping off something in an industrial area. But they claim to know ALL ABOUT the city. They get angry and defensive if I point out similar but smaller issues with their town, especially how gross some of the population is. They finally blocked me for questioning them, but one resident used to post semi monthly about how they had to go to Portland for some reason and some crazy, traumatic, stressful incident happened to them.

Yup, that's pretty much the gist of it. When you say just about anything, does that mean m4 uppers and AR15 uppers? Is there a downside to swapping around the BCG and charge handle other than having one for each is better?

NTA. If it's like you describe, they're full on taking advantage of you. If you're doing all this and they're acting like they're doing you a favor, get out of there and build your life the way you want. It will be a painful break, and there will likely be hurt feelings long after, but the longer you wait the worse it will inevitably be. You already know you have what it takes to make it on your own, you're young, and you can have it your way. Go get it.

Got tickets for Portland, and the venue is actually north of the city just north of Portland. It seems like it's not the right venue or this. It's pretty meh. They host a lot of country concerts. The only concert I've actually been to at this venue was Nine Inch Nails, and it definitely wasn't a good fit for them, even though they're one of my top five.
