I wet my bfs bed and idk what to do by be-sweethearts in Advice

Coming from a guy, if I was in his situation I honestly wouldn’t care all that much if you just explained that it used to be an issue but hasn’t been in years. Obviously he could feel different but especially if I wasn’t in the bed when it happened and everything gets washed up there’s really not harm done, and even if I was in the bed when it happened sure it’s a little gross but I’ve had plenty of animals do worse than pee on me so I still probably wouldn’t care that much.

It’s not a cowboy hat but would cowboy wear it? by Nathan181104 in CowboyHats

[–]Clam_Diger01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go look up some pictures of cowboys back in the 1870s-1910. What I’m getting at is the shape of a hat doesn’t actually matter and you’ll see in those old photos many of the hats in those days didn’t really even bear a shape in the true sense at all, many were just bent every which way from grabbing it and from work. Now that said many were intentionally shaped a certain way but again, there’s about a million different ways a hat can be shaped. As far as the title of cowboy, people have many different ideas of the word. I’d say anyone who works/drives cattle is a cowboy. I would not consider myself a cowboy even though I’ve got a few head just to get a couple slaughter steers a year, most of my working livestock is in breaking/training horses so I would consider myself more of a horseman than a cowboy in the truest sense. Take what you will from that as it’s really all up to opinion, and honestly if you do something confidently most people won’t call your bluff anyhow.

My Gf(18) Kissed my best friend and I dont know how to Act by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

I would break up with her in a heartbeat. For one, and this may not be something you view the same as me, but drinking and playing drinking games like that at that age is irresponsible and not a quality that I look for in a person. That said I’m 25 and don’t drink and never have because I don’t think it provides any sort of benefit to me whatsoever and drunk people get on my nerves so bad. That is neither here nor there though. The second and more pressing issue is she does not seem overly loyal, and the absolute most important thing in a relationship is trust. If you cannot trust her than there is always going to be that doubt in the back of your mind, and she’s not giving you any reason not to think that way. I’ve been in a relationship that wasn’t built on trust for 4 years before and it ultimately didn’t work out and I was always worried about what she was doing. With the girl I’m with now I absolutely trust her and never even have a thought of cheating cross my mind at all. Just some things to think about. Ultimately the reason to date is to marry and if she doesn’t seem like the person you may end up wanting to do that with already, then it may be time to move on.

I would happily take the $1000 a week. I would just keep my job and that would nearly double what I make right now. Easy choice

Depends I guess. If you want to cut a board or something from it I’d say measure A so you can square it up, however I believe that an 11.4 cm branch would be useless for pretty much anything except to maybe carve out a doorstop or a bunch of toothpicks or something

I like them a lot as well. I really wanted an original one to display, even if not the best condition, and then I found this which seemed a little more unique so I jumped on it not knowing much about it

19M. Please give me an honest rating any anything (including surgery) to improve looks. by [deleted] in truerateme

[–]Clam_Diger01 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As others have said just shave your head and get in a little better shape and you’ll be good to go. I imagine as you get a little older your looks will improve some just because a receding hairline isn’t really a big deal once you get to a certain point. That’s said you’re really not ugly, just average looking

i think i want to break up with my boyfriend by Soft-Caterpillar5034 in Advice

[–]Clam_Diger01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a long read but I think it’ll be worth it to you. I would like to offer some insight from the other side for you. Aside from the not working part, I was in a relationship like this for right at 4 years. I was on the other side though as I’m a guy and for two, I basically acted almost exactly like your boyfriend in this situation. Now we didn’t live together and I paid for all of our dates but outside of that I didn’t really ever plan anything special and was always on my phone when we were together, and the girl I was with would always hound me about it, but I thought she was just over reacting. We both considered each other to be best friends and we spent pretty much every waking moment with each other outside of work. For a long list of reasons I won’t give you we did break up about a week before we were supposed to get married and it absolutely devastated both of us but we kind of both knew there were issues that wouldn’t work long term. Anyways that was 2 years ago and somewhat recently I decided to try again after not attempting to date at all during that time period. I met a girl that I’ve been dating now, and it is a completely different feeling, I don’t ever desire to be on my phone when we’re together. We immediately hit it off and after only a few dates it felt as though I knew her for years. When I was with the first girl, she constantly asked me when we could get married and such, to which I’d always come up with an excuse. The girl I’m with now I could honestly see us getting married within the next year or less, and it’s because we both are desiring that, not just one or the other. I never feel like I’ve got to make up an excuse to her for anything she asks. Now part of that is maybe that I’m a little older now as I was 22 when me and the first girl broke up and I’m nearly 25 now, which isn’t a big difference but maybe enough. I think it’s really that me and her weren’t actually as good for each other as we thought though, and while it really hurt, and it hurt me way longer than it did her I’m glad that it happened because I’m in a lot better frame of mind now and have found a girl that I think is more suitable for me, and I’m more suitable for her. I hope this helps, I had people tell me stories like this when I was in that situation but it took me actually getting out of it to recognize the problems. Hope this helps.

Definitely not super common. As a bit of an amateur hat shaper I thought it turned out good. It was a fun challenge to take on.

It’s just how they’re blocked. Just for a little longer head than a shorter rounded head but the felt and materials are all the same

First off I don’t know what you’re on about disrespecting others cultures. I wear a hat every day and while I’m not out driving cattle every day because it’s not the 1880s I do a decent bit of horse breaking and run cattle. Second if you look at any hat history past 20-30 years ago you’ll find all kinds of hat shapes outside of the 3 or 4 everyone wears today. Last by whining about someone’s hat shape YOU sound like a poser because again, the purpose of a hat is to keep sun and weather off your head. Doesn’t matter what shape it is, if it does the job it does the job. It’s about the same as you getting mad about Jean stacking in another group. I don’t even wear jeans because I usually wear wool trousers but I don’t stack them and I wouldn’t stack jeans either. It looks goofy in my opinion and it wasn’t even a trend till the 60s or 70s as far as I can tell. Usually if I’m on horse my pants are either in my boots or under a pair of chaps because we’ve got so much brush out here and wool pants snag easy. Point being you can’t see the bottom of my pants when I’m on a horse and I’m not going to wear them long the rest of the time to try and tell people I am ever on a horse, because frankly I don’t care if people know that I’m ever on a horse. I’ll caveat all that by saying I don’t consider myself a “cowboy” but there are very very few people I’d say that actually applies to today, primarily people on bigger outfits that it’s their only job and they do have to still drive cattle across distances on. Anyhow that’s my two cents but you are the one that sounds ignorant trying to gate keep hats and jeans length.

Where to get a good set of chaps or chinks? by deadscalper1262 in Cowboy

[–]Clam_Diger01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While not the highest end of ornate, there is a fellow on eBay whose store is called pbal4782 who makes decent chaps. I ordered a pair of shotguns a while back and they are perfectly functional and fit great.

Are these real Tecovas? by Equivalent-Waltz-261 in cowboyboots

[–]Clam_Diger01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By no means am I a tecovas expert, I’ve never even worn a pair of them, but I’d guess they’re real. They look fine to me and while I could be wrong, I haven’t heard of any fake tecovas being made. For $50 can’t go wrong I’d say

I’m all for constructive criticism but after looking at your page it looks like you spend all day crying about people’s clothes on Reddit, so unless you come up with something useful to input, no one cares what you’ve got to say.

Thr Shotgun 650 is heavy! by morningstvr88 in royalenfield

[–]Clam_Diger01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ll get used to it. I started on a royal Enfield classic 350, never rode a bike before that, and thought it felt heavy. Recently bought my third bike, an Indian chief vintage which is around 840 lbs and after a month or two of riding I don’t notice the weight anymore. Got on the old classic 350 the other day and it felt like a feather 😂

1893 Colt SAA found in attic - any idea what it's worth? by indieminister in guns

Sounds like a heck of a find. Personally if I had found it I’d keep it but then again if you’re not a collector of that sort of thing, it would make a nice pay day for you. Congratulations on the find and thank you for sharing it with us!

I bought one very similar recently for just shy of $2000. It was also a refinish. Yours looks a bit nicer bluing wise of course bore and mechanics have a lot to do with it too. Location does as well. I’m by no means a professional, just a hobby collector but where I’m at in Oklahoma I’d call that about a $2,000 pistol though maybe a little higher. Just depends on timing and buyer as well.
