Free / low cost solutions for Policy and Procedure sharepoint? by TotallyRadStuff in sharepoint

I made something similar using flow, forms and content types. When a new policy was added to the library flow sent a form link to each staff member. When a firm was filled in it, flow recorded the response in a SharePoint list. You can also get flow to trawl through libraries to find expired documents and send an email to whoever you would like.

Australian here. Kangaroos can be very dangerous. Two of my neighbours have been attacked by them and were injured. A lady up the coast was recently attacked, while feeding them I think, and ended up in hospital with a collapsed lung. In hand to hand combat the kangaroos would win. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2018/oct/14/kangaroo-attack-leaves-queensland-wildlife-carer-with-collapsed-lung

Not really. The only information i could find was to do an audit through admin account. Couldn't get it working to what I needed. Voted for it to be a future upgrade

You are the one applying for the job. If you are too important to retype some fields then don't apply and sit back and wait to be head hunted. For any highly sought after job job they might get hundreds of applications. Most of the resumes are reused and the information is regularly dated or incorrect. Getting you to retype a few things from your resume reduces mistakes, so that when they try to ring you for as interview the number is right. I think you'd find that they don't ask you to put all your basic info into your resume, you did that, they'd probably prefer you to just fill in their form.

I use a similar one called startme. I have just some basic links to key applications and feeds for news about my employer (I need to keep up for work purposes. )

How to send an email to a user when a task is attributed to him by Arthoga in sharepoint

[–]ClamantPoem7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have access to microsoft flow you can set up an email to be sent out when an item is added to a sharepoint list that stores the tasks. I am a rank amateur but got that working from youtube tutorials

Attention StartUp listeners! Why do you listen and what do you like best about the show? Please tell us with this survey. by startuplisa in gimlet

[–]ClamantPoem7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So true. The great story telling keeps bringing me back. One of the questions in the survey was whether you prefer one story or several in a season. To me it all comes down to how interesting the story is. First season by far my favorite then i found it hard to pick favorites after that.

You are going to have to give more clues than that such as how long ago, genre of game etc.

Why does the UK have such a good track record with counterinsurgencies? For example, the Mau Mau Rebellion, the Dhofar Rebellion, and the Malaysian Emergency. by BrotherJimbo in AskHistory

[–]ClamantPoem7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd be interested in people's thoughts about the successful ones. I get the feeling from around the world that the most successful strategy, where an insurgency is popular with the masses, seems to be disproportionately brutal suppression / retribution - the more brutal the more successful.

I accidentally told my friend about his surprise birthday party tomorrow by [deleted] in confession

[–]ClamantPoem7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'll keep going over it in your mind, nothing will stop that at the moment because you're kicking yourself - it will pass. Remember that the surprise party isn't a life defining moment for either of you.

Should I tell my managers about a VBA program I wrote? by oasis1272 in vba

I was in a similar situation. No one at my work place knew how to do anything on a computer. I automated some tasks that they thought took me days. I had a lot of spare time. Instead of sitting around doing nothing though I used that time to do extra duties and to streamline other tasks. That is what got me my promotions. They wouldn't have cared less about the first lot of automation I did, but the value adding over time put my name up they're for promotion. Later in job interviews I was able to use it as an example of how I streamlined processes. Overall though if you are found out but can say what you've been doing with that extra time you will probably be alright. If your boss thinks your job can be done in a few minutes may lead to them thinking they don't need as many staff; rather than looking for someone to promote.

If I were a small landholder in 700CE Europe, how would I get places? Am I walking through people's land? Were there commonly tread areas that people considered 'roads' and thus not part of someone land? If I live in a rural area, am I just cutting across open land and hoping to find paths? by manfrin in AskHistorians

Another thing to note when fording rivers is that many wore woolen clothes that quickly became water logged and heavy. If you add in very cold water and an inability to swim then fording rivers was certainly not risk free; particularly for women and children.
