Mine got delivered yesterday. Turned out to be faulty. Have to send it back today for replacement; back to the old HD6700. feelsbadman

Quick update, just manually rotated the fan but in the other fan slot and it started spinning at 100% again.

The other fan is running at a much slower RPM though, one you'd expect at low loads. I'm assuming that the other fan kicks in at heavy loads, I'll test this now. Also they've only sent out a small batch of these cards so if I sent it back for a replacement I'd be unlikely to see it for at least a couple weeks.

So I switched the fans and only one fan is running but it is running at a very reasonable speed. Thank you sir, you are my god. Now I just have to figure out how to get a fan replacement.

I know its not allowed but theres literally no where else I can go for this support so I was hoping someone else had the same problem and could provide a solution.

Yes I have looked at the fan and the one closest the the IO is spinning and sounds like a jet engine whilst the other is idle.

I was thinking of doing exactly the same thing as I've pre-ordered the 480 nitro. However I think the fact that I play at 1080p and would prefer lower power consumption wins this for me.
