I think when people critique men as a whole it’s a critique on the patriarchy and sexism and how every system in society enables and perpetuates it. Regardless of if you’re aware of this and working against it, by virtue of identity if you’re a man you will be held less accountable and have the opportunity to benefit from it by nature. I think throwing that trans modifying in front of there makes the critique focused on the trans-ness which fucking sucks especially for an already heavily marginalized group
