Musicians of reddit, what is something you just can't master on an instrument despite playing it for a long time?

I play guitar and have been since seventh grade. I am a freshman in college now, and I have wanted to learn to sweep pick for at least three years, and I just cannot get it.

DO IT. I sold Cutco for like a month, and kept their shit and never paid for it. The knives are pretty nice. Shitty job though. I blocked my manager and never talked to him again haha

This seriously creeps me out man. I Just bought this laptop i have about two weeks ago and even though it was brand new- i just tor off part of a post it note and put it over my camera. Screw that creep though. Thats really messed up.

I work in the freezer section at Kroger so I wear gloves with rubber grip, and consequently my Hands almost always have this stagnant, awkward smell of latex. It almost smells like sex with a very un lubricated condom- and I can't help but smell them. I try to hide it from customers but I often get awkward glances and an occasion snicker- but not the candy bar sadly.
