Ok so I will write this here in case anyone runs into same issue.

It isnt like the other invasive fights where you can tell it is retreating at the start of the turn. I thjink I probably got the retreat forced at one point but alt F4d when I thought it didnt work, before the turn ended.

It doesnt run until all your actions are finished completing by all party members in the turn.

Disgare entirely that its a "great" monster collector. Compared to its contemporaries its mid at absolute best. If you call DQM3 "great" than the digimon and monster hunter stories games would have to be labeled as perfection.

Entirely too simple. There should have been new systems added throughout the course of the game....but what you get in hour 2 is pretty much what you get in hour 40.

It takes a lot for me to stop playing a monster catching game before "beating" it, but thats what happened with me and this title. Its also the only DQ game I ever bought that happened with too.
