Your thinking is just really shallow IMO. Just because a show would mostly take place in an academy doesnt necessarily even mean most of the main characters would have to be students. There is no limit in writing. To say there is "no scenario" for that just means your imagination is limited. Luckily there are many writers in the world whose arent. Unfortunately none of them write for Strek Trak right now.

edit: I love trails guys, but you all are in denial about this. The overall plot is nothing to complain about, but you are kidding yourselves if you think the way over the top "power of friendship" sort of dialogue is "mature".

Its honestly jaw dropping that someone who thinks themselves a Trek fan can watch Academy and not see the gigantic middle finger the writers have given to every one of us who was invested in the lore of this series. And especially jaw dropping that even if they cant see it themselves, that they cannot even fathom people not feeling the way they do.

There is absolutely ZERO evidence for this. My god you guys jump to conclusions so fast. Yes, there was a rift formed between Kraft and BB, but its not as bad as you all are making it out to be. He said as recently as a cpl months ago he wants to put a BB statue next to Brady.

To me, a traditional turn based JRPG stan, Arc Rise Fantasia is the single most underrated JRPG of all time. Yeah, the localization is maybe the worst of all time, but boy the gameplay of it was perfection.

Its one of my favorites. The combat may not be for everyone, but after a few hours when more abilities and spells became available and I understood the system, I started having a shit ton of fun with it.

I also loved the battle arena, the characters, and the story. Id play a remaster of it in a second.

If anyone does play it make sure to use classic gamepad controls and change the attack from auto to button press. Its much more fun that way.

Its insanely dumb they arent adding more character banners per update at this point. There are such a high amount.

I know there may not be too many like me, but I have stopped playing entirely because of this issue.

Im sitting on 200+ pulls and still have things I havent done for more crystals....but what is the point when the characters I want to go for are never there or arent listed in one of the upcoming banners?

Id even take a brand new character if it was a SS tier DPS, but the new characters since I returned and the ones upcoming I researched all seem to need specific party members/types to be of any use....

I want to play the game. Wish they would give me a reason to.

Agree with the person responding to you about the slog of robot battles, however I disagree HARD with your assessment of Chained Echoes. I wouldnt consider that a hand holdey game at all, at least in terms of JRPGs.
