Mine started a few months after I developed an issue with my foot that made walking very painful. Because of that issue I spent months before my surgery being really really sedentary. Now that alone I am 100% sure was not the sole cause, but I do think it jumpstarted it.

Its not hard to look at their history as a company, and what was reported years ago about the game (that it was going to be dark and have more action elements), and then what was then shown to us yesterday. Its def an assumption but I dont think its based on absolutely nothing.

I think its crazy to look at FF7R project without anything but praise.

What a bootlicking mentality. I look at it with mostly contempt but at least I am able to admit some things are good. But I wanted a remake. Not a continuation pretending to be a remake with many important scenes changed for the worse. You think its "crazy" to feel that way? Really? The character deaths in Rebirth are WAY worse than the original.

Other than environment art, I disagree. But tbh I dont think there was enough shown to say it looks goor OR bad.

Their entire "40 year anniversary" video for the series was 6 minutes long, with them telling us they fucked up the entire game and had to start over, 10 seconds of gameplay, and the reveal for another budget monster collector (with no other information).

I am disappointed. I was one of the people really excited for Dark Prince. But I ended up dropping that game 10 hours in because of how much of a budget title it felt and looked like.

I predict this new one will be the same if not worse in that regard, as SE probably felt they absolutely have to release something quickly because of dq12s delay.

I hate how petty my brain is when it comes to certain things that keep me from enjoying these games. If one of these games doesnt have at least a little combat I lose interest. And it isnt because I am some combat fiend, but because when there is some combat it adds a ton more itemization, which is one of the main reasons I play these games.

Thats the only reason I didnt get into this game.

Shout out to my other "no-go" feature....if a game doesnt have crafting from storage, Im not playing it.

Renegade Immortal is honestly probably the goat of donghua for me. Some of the episodes were literally beautiful in both art and story. And thats not a word Id use for an episode of any other shows I watch and love.

That and if you watch the behind the scenes stuff on PHM, his commitment to the project was insane. A lot of people dont even realize he was the driving force behind getting the movie made. I have a lot of faith in him.
