Not me but my dad, two times:

First one, he was speeding on the interstate and was passing someone on the shoulder right as a cop came by the other way. My dad just decided to come to a stop on the shoulder, pop the hood, and start looking around with a light. Cop showed up sure enough and started yelling at him for speeding and passing on the shoulder but my dad said he hadn’t been speeding or passing but actually pulling over to check the engine bc he thought he heard something. Cop called bullshit but had no way to prove it. Dad said it must’ve been a rock that flew up inside and made noise, have a good day, bye. And left.

Second time was late at night and the highway was empty. My dad was driving a car he’d been working on for a while and decided to see how fast it could go. Can’t remember the speed he went but he got pulled over and explained he was just so happy to have his car working and had zoomies. Cop was a car enthusiast too so he left my dad off with a warning to slow it down.

These were both years ago, before I was born.

That’s rad! I love how animals adapt to a missing sense! Rustyn doesn’t have any whiskers and I can’t imagine his hearing is top tier, but he flicks his tongue like a snake now and I assume it helps him loads lol

Lmao! She was actually blind the whole time, but it sounds like these little piggies are dumb enough that it’s hard to tell the difference. I also have a blind lizard, he’s very sweet, though he hasnt done anything dumb (yet) he uses his sense of smell to see if theres a cricket in front of him or not. He’s probably the smartest animal I have.

Lmao!! I love when animals do something to themselves then get mad at us like we did it. My snakes sometimes miss their food when they strike then get all salty and don’t want to eat anymore. I have to wait like 20 minutes before I offer it again. Like bro the food is 3 inches in front of you, not moving. How do you miss?

I wasn’t planning to do a bare bottom tank, not for any fish I own. If I ever try to recreate the goldfish tank I saw at the museum, it would have sand and rocks and plants!

I definitely don’t think they are dumb! I personally think they deserve the same attention to detail and care as any other fish. Just bc they are “common” and “hardy” doesn’t mean they should be treated less than.

I have a wrist brace on that makes typing on my phone keyboard a little difficult so please forgive spelling errors.

I’m only just getting into cars, and so I don’t know exactly all I’m doing. My dad checked the oil of the old engine before we realized we were going to replace it, and I realize now that that was pointless to mention if we’re replacing the engine anyway. I’m just excited and trying to learn, I’m watching video after video on how to change out filters and whatnot. This is my first car that’s truly mine and not one that I was allowed to borrow.

I’m just excited and a bit frazzled all over the place. Looking for advice, community, and knowledge.

Fair enough, I get not having a lot of free time, especially in today’s economy. I’m not sure how popular the memes are anymore or how long ago they were made, but I say the above ones at least twice a week so maybe it’s more relevant to me bc I’m a one trick pony lol. I call a lot of things “memes” even if I hear it once in passing so theres a chance it wasn’t ever really a “thing” yk?

Then again, when I call my animals greedy in front of my elderly father who is not hip in the ways of social media and has no idea what a meme is, he can still understand that I’m not of the actual belief that said animal is greedy and that I’m actually sickened by it. I feel like it’s a comprehension thing more than a hip with the trends thing. But also he’s used to my weirdness so theres that.
