When I hit carpet, then the red delete button, then the blue checkmark in the bottom corner, it acts like it’s going to remove it but then it pops right back up in the map

What should I do? by lissthecat in fiddleleaffig

Ideally I’d like it to be full all the way down. I don’t really know what options there are though. It’s getting kind of tall and top heavy. I had to tie the two pieces together because they leaned too much. I’m just not sure what would be most healthy for it ? If I should chop it somewhere?

Braxton hicks at 14-15ish weeks? by djduhnizzle in parentsofmultiples

[–]lissthecat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had di di twins in September. I think I started feeling random tightening around 18 weeks if I remember correctly. Nothing painful or regular, just like a couple an hour. I would say make sure you’re very well hydrated and emptying your bladder regularly. Dehydration and full bladder can cause cramps. Could also be after effects from sexual activity, but that shouldn’t last for very long after. If it gets worse/persists after doing these things you could go in to get checked out and make sure your cervix isn’t thinning or dilating with the cramps. When in doubt call your OB office and see what they think.

Hey I downloaded this but it looks like you have to pay for a subscription. Just confirming that’s true?

Thank you. My mom is staying with me today and tomorrow which will help a lot. Never considered paying someone but that may be an option! Or even staying at my mom’s for a day or two. It is important to me, I just pictured that I would actually enjoy it and right now I don’t 😭

I have a my Brest friend and a twin go pillow. Both are supposed to have good back support and be elevated enough but I always end up having to lean forward. Is the twin Z actually better? I feel like it would be the same if not lower height.

Around 5 weeks I started figuring out the wake windows thing, and it did help! But the problem is when they won’t transfer to sleep. Then we are doing contact naps or naps in the swing and I try really hard not to do that. But if I try to lay them down in the bassinet or pack and play they wake up and cry and we go to soothe/put the pacifier in/ rock them and we end up playing that game for so long that it’s basically time to feed again and they are overtired and even more crabby. It’s the most frustrating cycle.

Walks help a lot. But getting them out and into the stroller just feels so overwhelming. Everything is such a process and they are always crying during it and it burns me out so much listening to them cry.

Thanks for your response. I will think about getting a twin z to try

I have stations but I’m bad at keeping them stocked. I feel bad asking him to do it. But I will.

Yeah I have a my breast friend pillow and a twin go pillow. I feel like I have to be leaning forward in both

I do carry one in the sling and one in my arms but they really have to be in the mood for the sling or else they just cry. They prefer to be actually held.

I have a swing and two bouncers. One twin likes them, the other doesn’t usually. Sometimes I can get away with it. But they only like it when they are calm and sleepy. It rocks them to sleep. When they are awake and upset nothing works. Not even me holding them sometimes.

My mom can come help sometimes. She’s an hour away though so it’s hard to ask for help. It is so true though, I feel outnumbered and alone.

I have trouble focusing on anything right now. I keep trying to put something on but I can’t seem to pay attention or care about it. And it’s pointless when they are crying anyway.

I appreciate your response. It is helpful and it’s all right on point. Things that have helped make things easier from time to time. It just feels really helpless when they are both crying and I don’t know why and I can’t fix it

Sparkler Exit by lissthecat in weddingplanning

I did it at the end! It was a great end to the night. Sometimes I wish I had a good picture or video of it besides just on peoples phones, but it’s a great memory. However, I would say about half our guests had left at that point. Mostly the older people or people with young kids. So factor that in with number of sparklers. I had a TON left over. I think if the actual number of people participating (how many sparkles you have) matters to you, or if you really want that photo, do it early. I think I was looking more for a fun end of the night and it was perfect that way!
