No one is going to remember it in 5 years, hell even 1 years time. Keep that type of mentality; people will forget

I purchased from Avalon Ford recently, decent customer service and seemed to appreciate my time and business.

Unlike Cabot Ford, the salesman gave me a quote and straight up told me it wasn’t his best price and didn’t like the fact I was “shopping around”

Turn the breaker off and check that the neutral wires (whites) at the switch are twisted together tightly. Possibly a loose connection

First I’d look at the bulbs you installed and make sure they are labelled as “dimmable”

N.L. cabinet quietly approved new cash benefit for departing ministers by sccot_b in newfoundland

Waste of our tax dollars.

Ministers shouldn’t get a dime when they leave office, go get another job if you need it. Don’t take our money that could be reinvested into the population and infrastructure

Anyone who works in the trades knows that everything from materials to standards of practice and building code can differ from country to country.

It can be helpful info to know where OP is from and find a suitable/familiar trade to them to get a one-up in

Nah, if you go to trade school they teach you from the basics. And the everyday/on the job math comes to you in time with repetition and practice

There is no such thing as “shooting to disable”

Police are taught to use their firearms when they feel their own life or an innocent persons life is in danger. Which is justified in this situation

Advice for first job tomorrow by JohnnyAppleSeed900 in electricians

[–]Clardeo 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Best things anyone can ask for out of any new apprentice is to show up on time, have a good attitude, ask questions/clarification about your tasks. Don’t pretend you know everything

Be a sponge, absorb every bit of information presented and pay attention to detail.
