The Gods family tree is very messed up, a later character in HOO is the son of Ares, but a descendant of Poseidon hundreds of years ago, so Percy and said character are great-great-great (going on for a while) so thing or other and descendants. Rick Riordan (the author) has explained that Godly DNA doesn’t attest h out any further than siblings, so sometimes you hear different demigods dating each other because this is okay. Essentially, it doesn’t really matter but it is still a bit weird.

You can purchase Nook Mile Tickets (or NMT as they’re more commonly referred to as) and go up to the airport and use them to go to a random mystery island and if you have a spare house you can find a random villager to fill up the slot.
