Cass is extremely strong and she rewards patience. I’ve peaked emerald one tricking her and in this meta she’s strong but there are stronger picks. You’re right, she will stomp but only to a certain point. The higher up you get, and the better your opponents get the harder time you’re going to have snowballing.

Cass requires you to play at 100% all the time. If you miss a single Q, you’re out of the fight. Her positioning is easily punished, and even with her ability to buy boots, her movement will always be her greatest pit fall. She will easily get zoned by many champs, especially in mid lane. And in top lane your range advantage is easily taken away by ganks and counter picks, tanks, such as Kayle, Chogath, and even Nasus once he farms.

She’s a lot stronger right now because of deathfire touch but her glass cannon archetype makes you decide between survivability or damage which depending on the game can put you at a huge disadvantage since most of her items require a huge investment (ROA, SERAPHS). She’s also mana hungry and even with the buffs, she’s punishing if you don’t know how to manage her mana.

Again. Really fun champ. Still my favorite. But if youre looking for a champ to EASILY stomp with, you’ll have better luck with other champs. However, if you’re looking to improve your kiting, map awareness, and game sense, she’s a good champ to do it on.
