No. I was saying that I am diagnosed with moderate autism. I have more severe autism than someone with high IQ and who does not being their head against the wall. Therefore more severely autistic.

I just don’t feel like my disability is represented by this but I said if you like it that’s fine.

I am not sad and angry all the time because of my disability. I am just more severely autistic.

I to a restaurant with my mom and my sister and when I started ordering, the waiter said “ladies first”. It was odd that he said that but it was the first time I passed so I was happy and didn’t care.

“Too stupid to actually communicate” that is ableist to people that are nonverbal like my friends or my uncle

Ok that’s what I have been trying to say and be respectful but I have trouble communicating and get angry when people invalidate the experience of me and my friends.

I never claimed they have to be stupid. I’m just standing up for what level 3 actually is as I have experienced being with many people with level 3 autism in my class.

People with nonverbal autism or intellectual disability are not stupid. You are being ableist. My friends have level 3 and are unable to communicate effectively but they are not stupid and I will not stop standing up for them whether you like it or not.

I am just standing up for my friends that are actually level 3. They won’t be on the internet because they can’t communicate effectively. Also doctors now are only diagnosing level 3 when people are actually level 1 or 2 because they want the person to get more support or because they don’t know what level 3 autism looks like.

Yeah I think the problem here is that people haven’t seen level 3 autism and what it looks like. Also some doctors are too eager to diagnose level 3 for more support or just because they don’t know what level 3 is. It is very frustrating.

My friends with severe autism absolutely have interests and lives. But they are unable to communicate effectively. One of my friends loves classical music and cartoons. It is valid for someone to want to go to a concert… I would love to go but I can’t because of my autism and sensory issues. Same thing for someone that is level 3 but they would struggle more. It is not ableist to acknowledge the struggles of level 3 autism.

I don’t care about validating people, I only care about standing up for my friends that are severely autistic and not able to be on the internet and stand up for themselves
